Planet Hollywood's Spice Market buffet is good if you want variety

Wynn's is still the best IMO in terms of freshness & selection

firebird79_00 04-25-2011 09:01 PM

yea as long as you got a room key, so its inclusive with a room. They have 3 pools and a lazy river...also have a club called wet republic at night at the pool

MGM in general isn't bad unless you get the newly renovated side. I think that's the one with the newer rooms but they're smaller compared to the older side (or vice versa)

The hotel is huge so it's also a pain in the ass if you're on a high floor and have to wait for the elevator.

I was in Vegas a few weeks a go. Here are 3 things you must do.

1. In and out burger. So tasty!!!
2. pole position racing. best Go cart setup I have seen.
3. Las Vegas gun range. Fired a M-16 and a glock 9. did not expect that much kick back from a gun. They make it seem way to easy to fire a gun on TV and the movies. Games like time crisis need to add some type of force feed back to the gun,

Elevators are quick, they seperate them in sections and have 6 per section. I dont remember exactly how they were seperated but it was something like 1-13 then 14-20 then 20-29 etc...

Clear all that shit off before you purchase. Check in at a reasonable time and you'll be fine.

gdoh 04-27-2011 12:03 PM

if you guys are going to buy american dollars buy it from Vancouver Bullion & Currency Exchange on W.pender

skholla 04-27-2011 04:59 PM

allegiant.... i dont bother with priority boarding but i do pay the $10 for seat selection. also if you prepay for checked baggage its $20 each way instead of $35-40 at the gate.

i use VBCE vancouver bullion & currency exchange, they are great. also check out their granville and broadway location.

it all depends on the time you check in. If you get your tickets at the desk ASAP you can sit where you want (obviously not including priority paid seating)

Keep in mind that they will call priority paid seating first, then non-priority paid seating for the elderly and families w/ small children. After that, your tickets are numbered usually from NPS 1-30. Lower numbers are called first (usually from 1-5, etc)

Check in 2-4 hrs (30min for check-in, 1 hr wait, 30min-1hr for security) early before your flight and you should have no problem sitting together w/ the person you are travelling with.

I've flown twice to Vegas w/ allegiant. Both times I arrived 2-3hrs early and always got the general seating area i wanted + w/ person i was travelling with

You can take a free shuttle right to the rent-a-car building. They have about 6-8 rental agencies under one roof. Usually Dollar has the cheapest rates.

Never rented a car in Vegas, rather be drinking than driving. Also traffic can be crazy there so I will leave it to the professionals.
