Just a tip for those that are going. I booked regular room at aria. When I checked in I sandwiched a $20 and asked for any suite upgrades. Guy was nice and showed me suites that were 600 a night. Said he an do something for me and he hinted for a suite I need to give some more. He went and pretended to talk to the manager and said he will give me the sky suite. I gave him an extra 40. Cost me 60 bux for a 7 night upgrade into a 600 per night room on the 31 floor Posted via RS Mobile |

I am checking in dec25 for 3 nights there. Maybe I will do the same, slip him $40? Does it matter if you pricelined the hotel? I won with $81 per night, $330 taxes in total. Posted via RS Mobile |
Doesn't matter trdood, I booked through travelocity. Just slip 20 or 40 between ur ID and credit card, ask nicely for any free suite upgrades Posted via RS Mobile |
Just came back from Vegas. Stayed at Stratosphere (should've check the map on how far it is off the strip before I booked). I tried the $20 trick but the lady was like "oh you have money in here", and gave it back to me. Bad luck for me I guess. |

I think I will try bellagio buffet myself before I leave, people say it's better than Wynn. Going to Joel robuchon tonight, hope it exceeds expectations! Posted via RS Mobile |

More like $40 for any suite would do :okay: Posted via RS Mobile |
I doubt it will work now. Vegas is crazy busy now. Posted via RS Mobile |

Posted via RS Mobile Update: Offered $40 got nothing. Stuck on 4th floor :okay: Very nice hotel though. Any places to eat for late night? |
Vegas update: Aria is top-notch, tables are minimum $25. Too rich for my blood. KA at MGM is a waste of money. They showed nothing remotely close to the shows in Vancouver. 90 mins of dancing and singing for $150 :seriously: O show tomorrow night, hope that's not a waste of time. Posted via RS Mobile |
Cheap ones I would suggest to go for the Stratosphere, I spent 2 nights there in October and it was only $36/night. You just gotta look for the deal closely online. On strip will be Treasure Island, MGM Signature, and Bellagio. I spent my vacation there at different hotels! I found that Treasure Island was actually pretty good with reasonable price and good location. Hope this help! |
Trying to plan a vegas trip but the Jun 7th weekend is hell of expensive Any tips on planning? Its about 900 tax in for 3 nights |

I tried Wynn and was disappointed at its selection of food Posted via RS Mobile |
went dec 19-23 stayed at PH the $20 worked got a view facing right at bellagio's fountain booked for $41 a night for most basic room so it came to around $46 per room before taxes. wynn's buffet is pretty good in my opinion, i actually went in at 10:55 and ate their lunch buffett which starts at 11 paying the breakfast price :troll: wasn't even planning to do that but it just happened which was a bonus to me my favourite buffet has to be the spice market in PH (this is my third time), lots of variety and great food and decent price, remember print out the $5 off coupon online before you go |
I did the $20 trick at Planet Hollywood and got a really nice room. Separate sinks and had a tub too. I think it was something like 1000 sqft and had a view of the Bellagio fountains. Wynn breakfast buffet was delicious, seasoned perfectly and nothing was too salty. Bellagio dinner buffet is the WORST. Everything was salty, shitty quality and expensive as hell (not to mention the long ass line, 1.5 hour wait). They somehow had poor quality crab legs compared to everywhere else, even though they're all the same at every buffet. Spice Market in PH and the Caesars buffet are the best value/quality/variety (if you get the $45 24-hour pass) O! was slightly above average in my opinion. It was pretty cool at the beginning but got boring about half way though (moved towards dancing/prancing instead of tricks and visual stuff) I still think Mystere is one of the better ones. Michael Jackson show was pretty awesome except that PYT wasn't on the set list. |

I tried: Carnevino @ Palazzo Alize @ Palms SushiSamba @ Palazzo Joel Robuchon @ MGM Lotus of Siam - thai off strip Nobu @ Hard rock casino Eifel Tower @ Paris Musashi - teppanyaki off the strip Social House Japanese - Crystal Shopping centre Wolfgan Puck Spago @ Caesars I think thats about it lol |
Gonna head down on Saturday, June 9th for a wedding. I'm assuming the $20 trick won't work since it's smackdab in the middle of the Electric Daisy Festival :okay: The PH Spice Market buffet was probably the best in terms of quality... Crab Legs :sweetjesus: Off the trip at the Rio, the buffet is quality isn't as good but the selection was epic, biggest buffet bar I've ever seen! I was thinking of PriceLine'ing a hotel but I'm worried that I will end up off the strip at Stratosphere or Trump ... which would be a PITA to cab to the strip everyday. I was thinking of just booking either New York or Monte Carlo, been reading a few reviews, some good, some bad. Any RS'ers have personal experiences with either of these hotels? |
