Heading to Vegas in early April. Was wondering if i could get tickets to "O" at Vegas and how much cheaper would it be?

I bought a few tickets to other shows in Vegas but "O" was on vacation at that time so i missed it, i don't really want to miss it again.

Any input? TIA

Thanks! Too bad he's fully booked during the time we plan on going...

Any other hiking tours that you can recommend? If not, other activities? We only plan on staying there for 4 nights or so.

I never been yet because I never had enough time but you could try checking out the Grand Canyon?

PornMaster 02-24-2012 02:19 AM

Why the hell would you waste a day of your vacation looking at a hole in the ground LOL

Obsideon 02-24-2012 03:41 AM

Good point, hence why I have never gone yet haha... but I heard it's a breathtaking view!...

Anyways, on a side note, anyone have any experience or comments on:
Stratosphere & Riviera other than it's pretty far from the strip?

^I just stayed at the Riviera this past week. 3 stars hotel at the best. But the staff are very polite. Depends which room you are reserving, the ambience can be really shitty to very nice. Stay away from the Mediterranean tower, Monaco and Monte Carlo towers are nicer. Riviera is a bit far from the center of the Strip but it's a good walk right now because it's not hot and it feels like spring in Vegas right now. Across from the Riviera, there's a casino called Slots o Fun, $1 roulette, craps, and blackjack. But they are machine operated. If you want to cab it from Riviera to the center strip, it should be under $10. If it's over, you're getting ripped off. And those cab drivers do try their best to screw you over with some BS.

Grand Canyon is nice but stay away from the skywalk. You're not allowed to take pictures on it and you have to pay to get your pictures taken by the staff over there. It's pretty lacklustre anyway. Best place to go in Grand Canyon is Guano Point. You get to hike a small hill and the view there is breathtaking and free.

We wanted to go watch "O" but they didn't perform on the days I were there. =( Went with KA instead and it was pretty good. I got tickets from Tix4Tonight but they were still pretty expensive. $91 per. Only about 25% off even though they advertised everything is %50 off.

Thanks, I am staying at the Riviera next week. How long is the walk from the hotel to the center of the strip? 15 minutes?

It'll take you around 30mins I think.

When I went I stayed at excalibur. Walked to Palazzo and it took about 40-45mins on sidewalks and 35-40mins when we walked on the streets(new years), and this was with a group of ppl in dress shoes and heels.

Chronix 02-24-2012 10:26 PM

it took us about 15-20 minutes. its nice to walk out since its not hot right now. The only thing I would complain is that during some crosswalks you have to walk over bridges.

I thought the Riviera was closed? It was closed when I was down there in dec.

I am back from Vegas and Riviera.

Long story short, I should have slept in the rental instead.

Discount Firearms by Fashion Show Mall is suppose to be better than The Gun Store because it's closer to the strip and cheaper

:rukidding: 30 minutes to check in at the registration desk, but only 2 people ahead of me.

Terrible ventilation in the lobby and hallways. I know smoking is permitted indoors but other casinos don't smell as bad as this one.

:heckno: Dead bugs in the drawer in the room. Closed it and left my clothes in the suitcase.

Mold in the bathroom. Around the tiles, the tub, floor etc.

However, the wifi was pretty fast, and with a Westjet flight from Vancouver, it was only $360 for 3 nights.

Also, It is a good 20 minutes of brisk walking from the busy part of the strip. My colleague stated at the Cosmopolitan (beautiful) for only $130 a night. With a balcony and view from the middle of the strip, I would have rather stayed there instead.

Unless they changed it recently, North strip vicinity north, you'll get either Wynn, Venetian or Palazzo. If you do North strip vicinity condo, you'll get the Trump 100%.

You rather stay at the Cosmo than Riviera?

I think that goes for everyone on RS?

Its like saying, i rather drive a lamborghini than a Civic.

Let this be a lesson to folks that are thinking about cheaping out on accommodations in Vegas...

DON'T DO IT

I don't have personal experience but I've heard MANY people with horrible experiences at Luxor, bad location, bad rooms, bad service, bad everything. YMMV I suppose ... good luck! :heckno:
