Yeah i got it fixed... sure enough it was what i had kinda expected. The rubber o-ring on the top of the #6 fuel injector did not take a proper seat when i put it in there so i guess it sealed for 100 miles then eventually tore and started spewing fuel. Anyways i just got back home now from work where i was working on the supra. I had to get it towed to work so that kinda sucks too, another 40 bucks i didnt want to spend. Anyways all looks good now

Theres nothing wrong with the injectors, i think the stupid o-rings that were supplied in the gasket set are too big or something stupid.

when i installed my AFPR i was told not to use a o-ring one one side of it, go figure i had a different model than the norm.

when i fired up my car to test it, it shot gas all over the place around the battery and alternator, hehe.. scary shit

safe to say ive got washers doubled up in there and it hasnt leaked since

It is the closest one to the alternator right now thats leaking. Its the #1 injector. But its not even runnable like this anyways. Its not like its just a leak, it sprays out at full fuel pressure. I lose about a liter of fuel in 45 seconds, if that. So its parked until i decide what to do about it for the second time.

fuel line leak, or maybe around the FPR?

that sounds like too much fuel for just the injector to be leaking

Nope, its definately the injectors, or i guess its the fuel rail technically. Cause think about it for a minute. If the upper injector o-ring fails/tears, then all you are left with is a pressurized fuel rail spraying past the injector cause the o-ring is damaged. So im getting full fuel pressure spraying all over my engine bay. And the reason im sure its the injectors is cause it was the number 6 injector originally that started spewing. And now i have repaired it with a new o-ring and now i have the number 1 injector o-ring spewing fuel past it... I just bought 6 new o-rings right from toyota today. So i will be putting those on and they better damn well fix this problem. Its getting ridiculous.

Yes they are just stock injectors, but i think the problem lies within the FelPro gasket set. The o-rings they supplied in the overhaul set looked a little bigger when i finally compared them (after the fact). So im hoping they just screwed up somewhere along the lines. Ive got the proper toyota ones now though so im gonna have to rip it apart and try again.

buyin the sprint tomorrow its in MUCH better condition than the last one, not sure if it actually needs a new clutch or not, might just need adjustment.... hell of a good deal too

datsun is for sale now, so if anyone knows of someone looking for a cheap car, let me know.
