Heh, no...it's a -133C degree freezer for tissue samples. This one holds ovarian cancer tumors.

I finally got a decent shot of the moon. All I was missing was a tripod  Taken with my Nikon 18-200VR.

You just need a camera that can shoot RAW and a program that can generate HDR images. I use Photomatrix. You can even use JPEG's, but they don't always turn out as good.

You don't need RAW. Just bracket with JPEG.

I'd find that hard to do. Most people dont want their picture taken, did you ask first or after? or not at all?
