yeah the background was really tough to work with.... i had a hard time with it after too.. creases!! haha.. but thanks for the input. I have definitely learned my lesson for the future with patterns/busy backgrounds. here's page 11 for those who didnt see it on flicker yet http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2333/...fa3e50.jpg?v=0 |
Oh I totally agree! I like that a lot better! Good Job! |
Oh, ya that one on flickr is great. As for the music shot I TOTALLY LOVE IT!!! Its great! And as for lining it up, it is almost perfect. You should have post some set-up shots though :p How did you do that one with the music, and the white background.? |

The music is a simple (oversized) jpg that i found on google. Cut it out, warped it and stuck it in the background of my two pages. |
Ya, but its very well done. lol he must be funny to watch dancing, judging by the photos. Its very original, i love it |

haha  so was this a friend that did the modeling for you? or did you hire a person? or? |
He's a friend of mine :) (and a pro dancer) |
Did some product photography for Chocoatl's website. These are some play shots I took using a Lensbaby and a 1DMKIIn after finishing with the actual shoot. I can't believe how noisy the images are @ 400 ISO. Very surprising. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...I/_O0J3395.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...I/_O0J3344.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...I/_O0J3324.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...I/_O0J3315.jpg |
How did you not eat those?! haha Pretty cool stuff! |
Some of those are actually fakes. We did have the real truffles that I did eat though. :) |
hmm, i've never been a big fan of the lensbabies. They seem kinda ...blagh... to me. But i like the 2nd shot. :) |
lens baby is like a $200 gimmick that gives the same effect i can achieve with 2 mins of photoshop. im not a big fan either |
Senna, do more macro shots. I've always loved your macro like the rain drops on spider webs... These photo actually make my eyes hurt... I mean they're nice photos, but the effect I don't really like much... Just my 2 cents :p |
Yeah, I was just playing. Those will not be going onto the website. It was my first time playing with a Lensbaby and a canon camera. It's not an easy thing to play with. The camera is a POS with higher than expected noise. Clients don't want too many macro shots...they want something that shows off their products. As for Photoshop, why spend 2 min getting a similar effect when you can get it in 1/125 sec with a Lensbaby? Yes, the uses for it are quite limited though. I'd use it for a select few wedding shots. |
Haha I know clients don't want macro shots, or not too many, but I'm saying post more macro shots on RS :p |
my 1d mark2 doesn't have crappy noise like that... maybe its the lens baby ;) heheh |
Maybe....but at 100% on the monitor, there is visible noise at 400 ISO, which was surprising. |
bah its old anyways ;) Edited to show no noise :D 100% Iso400 F5.0 1/60 15mm Fisheye http://x36.xanga.com/522c4b6ac6d3416...w126734658.jpg Look you can even see me in the reflection of her eye haha and you can see her eye booger YUM!! |
|
