Dennis, that looks like something out of a futuristic city where everyone lives in a technological society up high in the sky. Oh wait, that's now! :O.

Just starting to learn this stuff but here's a few shots that I've taken:

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x...ieta/Drink.jpg

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x...rieta/Fire.jpg

The middle picture was an accident, the realization the next morning that hey, that looked cool. The last 2 pics are off an old Casio P&S and the first one is the very first shot that I took with my new E-410.

isn't that where we live now? some high up, some underground, but anyone who's not wired to a RJ45 all day is easily "out of touch".

To the guys that asked where that was taken, up Kowloon Peak, Hong Kong.

Day's like this remind me of Vancouver, until I check the weather report, SNOW!

Sweet shot...reminds you of home doesn't it? ;)

Levitron 04-20-2008 01:53 PM

Mmm....bratwurst was goooood :D

Picked up a few toys @ the camera show.

-Optex table-top clamp $5 (it was cheap...could always use an extra clamp that doubles as a tabletop tripod)
-Vivitar 3700 flash $25 (works with the PT-04!)
-Kodak Instamatic 100 $3 (this is more for collecting than to use)

Went to a CD release last night for local band Cradle To Grave... they put on a great set, but the highlight of the night for me was the first band up, Without Mercy. Amazingly tight, brutal, young band, and this little waif of a blonde lead singer with awesome "cookie-monster" vocals...

Stereographic projection.

Polar filter in Photoshop amongst other things :)

Agreed on the RJ45 connection. "home" doesn't feel far away when you're wired up.
