In my past experience, it really differs. Though I've managed to sneak in a 70-200 by wearing a black jacket and a slim black backpack....at night the two kinda blend in and the security guard thought I was just wearing my jacket. |

I went with my 717 once and they didn't let me. Went with my full camera backpack once and they saw my 70-200 dood said, "ok now you better take some good pics with these" It also has to do with what kind of event i think, NHL or Orca Bay etc... |
yea i got asked the question how long my lens is.. i just showed them.. the pic was at 55mmish...so coulda went in a bit more... sec.119/row18 hmm..maybe next season, i should sneak in longer lens when i buy one over the summer hehe |
The one time I brought my rig to a regular-season Canucks game, they told me I could bring it in, but I couldn't shoot with anything over 70mm, or my camera would be confiscated until after the game. Seemed kinda stupid considering my Rebel's kit lens was a 28-90mm - they gonna have someone standing there with binoculars making sure I don't turn it past the 70 mark? Meantime a lot of P&S cameras will get you a lot closer, but they don't seem to have a concern about that. I didn't have any problem using my 75-300mm at the SuperSkills, so it may be more an NHL issue than an Orca/Canucks thing. I've also never had a problem with it at a Lions game, or at the World Juniors, and only once at a Giants game, regular season or playoffs. |
Got bored and pieced parts of my receiver together, lol. http://www3.telus.net/peazs/apr08/Ha...rdon-600px.jpg |

^ That must have been an interesting event! |
love the last shot! In the first one...I'm not sure...I think I'd rather see HER in focus and the flowers blurred...I dunno...but the last one is kick-ass :) |
Domani: definitely an interesting event. 2 Very different cultures all mixed up in one go. OffroadZuki: I have one of each, but I preferred the flowers in focus. Sometimes you just never know until you've taken the shot and bring it back to the studio. |
