did you just carry a sling and another bag for your personal stuff? It's hard finding a bag with enough room for gear, and personal stuff like food clothing, etc.

I kept stuff like granolla bars, candy or sandwitches in the sling but for everything else the suitcase did the job. I would leave the suitcase in the hotel or lock it up in the lockers JR provides inside it's terminals.

So I got a tripod the other day n tried some shots in the dark. This is a lot harder than it looks and editing it is confusing as I don't know what to do. So here are two pics I took and if anyone could give me some pointers on either or, or which one looks better would be great.

Yes I know thers a bit of lens flare on the first one but I don't know how to get rid of, or fix it.

Are you using a filter? If you are take it off and it will minimize the flare. This is a common problem when using filters at night.

I think the photos (esp the right side one) has too much contrast and oversaturated. Is it HDR?

Here are a couple of photos I took recently:

Went to dinner at Glowbal today. Pretty decent food there, although a tad bit on the pricier side.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3361/...e6a1bc1caf.jpg
Braised Lamb Shank with forest mushroom risotto and a pinot noir jus that my buddy had.

And I had a 1/2 chicken with mashed potatoes and asparagus.

MikesJo 06-13-2009 11:41 AM

Pricey for sure!

Meowjin 06-13-2009 11:49 AM

I was prepping/scouting a location for another shoot at the time at UBC...and turns out that there was a flamenco dancing show/competition going on at the time. This was at the SUB stairs, where Pi-R-Squared is located.

I've always loved shooting those stairs from the top down...people run down them and it's a sweet spot for capturing motion. :)
