^ Cut off the top of the bridge, kind of a bummer. Composition looks a little awkward. Here's my take on it. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-j.../DSC_3442e.jpg |
^Why all the lights are so greenish? |
Played with the colors, that was the 'look' I wanted.. |

https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...09137008_n.jpg Just curious, but for a photo like this one, where would you guys have focused? Sometimes I'm really confused, and I end up getting a soft looking photo. Feels bad when I see some of these amazing shots you guys are taking. I shot it with a focal length of 35mm on 18-55mm, f/5.3, 1/200. I believe I focused in the middle of photo. |
i woulda focused on the steps in front of you but then again im no photographer i dont even have a real camera  i like it though :D |
Here's 2 shots from the foggy nights we had. Still working on these but I thought they looked good enough to post for now haha. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8375/8...55f9a3d0_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8087/8...4efd1efa_b.jpg |

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7208/6...e9282688_b.jpg Old ass pic Some Basic tips is before you take a photo, first actually look at the scene ask yourself what are you seeing that looks beautiful. After you answer that look into the viewfinder and frame it as best as you can. Take as many pictures of the same scene as you can, and at different exposures so when you go home HOPEFULLY you are satisfied with one of them. |

The easiest way to avoid extreme distortion is to have your camera perfectly level on your tripod. The fastest and most accurate head to do that with is a geared head. The cheapest one you can get is the Manfrotto 410 Junior. I post the general set up info on my interior shots if your interested in how it was done. |
was up at my cabin this past weekend, was messing around with a bunch of long exposure stuff, attempting star trails and some other shots, some came out decent, others not so much, check em out http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8370/8...2c45de37_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8087/8...9695075a_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8099/8...5f6d6e30_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8370/8...b0a1d358_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8367/8...65ba4a34_b.jpg |
