Lol saw this on FB:

http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...psb6b88c80.jpg

Kind of related to our previous discussion...

I mean I get it guy doesn't want to mess up his R8, but to switch from an AWD car to a RWD car for winter is kind of dumb...

EDIT: Cropped buddies name out...

RE-EDIT: Might take some time to take effect...

BrRsn 12-06-2013 08:29 PM

maybe he doesn't wanna drive his R8 because it doesn't have snowies whereas the BRz does

jeez so judgemental

No. What does that have to do with anything?

Guys I wasn't hating, just found it funny, switching to a RWD car thats pretty low to the ground specifically for winter is not the norm.

maybe that's his only other car? at least he has winters on (assuming based on steelies). im sure winter tires for frs/brz is much cheaper than winters for an R8

MaaaadMan 12-06-2013 10:13 PM

You really don't need AWD at all in Vancouver winters..

No you don't, but my point was if you are going to have a winter car separate from your summer car, I would pick LITERALLY any drive type over RWD.

True, and those winters will make a world of difference.

370ZX 12-06-2013 10:28 PM

The guy obviously just wanted people to know how baller he is with his R8 and winter "beater" BRZ. Let's all just hold hands and be friends.

thumper 12-07-2013 07:20 AM

not disagreeing with the r8 being more than capable as a winter daily driver, but given a choice, i would rather be in the brz rather than getting the r8 totaled after getting hit by someone on bad summer tires in the snow :(

evlee 12-07-2013 07:29 AM

what about that guy parking his civic to drive another civic (winter beater) for winter :troll:

Mr.Jay 12-07-2013 03:41 PM

yea deff rather crash a BRZ than a R8

For vancouver winter, I would take a RWD with proper winter tires over a AWD with summer tires anyday...

Nope. Stock car had the stock Tiburon GT bumpers. He painted and installed the bumpers by himself . Massive props tho, cause I can't even seem to color match my rock chips :okay:
