oh yea.. my GF saw that M&M racer game that is due out in January. looks pretty cute from the pictures released online
oh yea, forgot to ask.,
anyone has played mario & sonics at the olympic games?
If so, what do you think?
I am looking at a couple part-oriented games as well.
any suggestion/comments be great!
(I found quite a few "used" ones at gamestop) t at least 20% discount, not bad deals, since they are mostly (at least from the looks of it) new.

I just bought Rayman: Raving Rabbids 2. I really enjoyed the first one. This one is really fun, and the rabbids are a riot, but it's not nearly as ludicrous as the first one. It is a great multiplayer game, though. I especially like how the music part of the game is simultaneous play now, with each player playing a different instrument.

I haven't played the first Rayman although I really should get it off BT soon.

^^
The first one is a definitive must have. The 2nd one would be one to get if you enjoyed the first one, and/or if you have people over a lot.
The 2nd one is still really fun. One of my favorite events is talking on the cell during a movie. You hold the remote to your ear where you'll hear a rabbid jabbering, and when the house lights come on, you gotta put down the phone and try to send get a text sent to an opponent.

Get Mario & Sonic Olympics I have a copy of this game and it rocks. Great Multiplayer action, make you look embarrassing with the moves you perform but thats what the Wii does. It gets a party going...and this is a great game to acknowledge that fact.
i give it a 85/100

$250!?
Go buy it.
Most of the stores are SOLD out around where I live or around most of the major urban cities here on the north east coast.
Even on craigslist, most of them go for $350 for a USED one.

its good, its fun, its even more fun if u are a serious star wars geek like me
but swinging your wiimote isnt necessary, u can just press the button, although both is an option, u just have better timing with button pressing than swinging it....
plus there is co op play.. fun to play with....

just curious, if i had anyone of those channels that you download, and if you mod your wii, will you lose all the data?
and yeah i read somewhere with the updates..
so just to confirm, you download your own games, burn em on a dvd and run them just like that? as for updates, will my wii get bricked if i update after i mod it?
anyone know any places that do em?
just picked one up

Yea, I am wondering about getting my Wii modded too. I bought mine in November so I will be requiring the D2Ckey. I have postponed getting the mod in precaution of any updates or something that might brick it. What are your guys' thoughts or do you know anything about it? I heard that you can't access any of the wireless or channels when you mod it... not that online for Wii matters much.

i dont know much about the other mod chips but the Wiikey is fool proof safe to hook it back online..
im accessing the weather, news channel with no problem
the only thing that i know will cause it go brick is that if you put a jap or PAL game on ur wii console and it asked for an update, this can cause to brick due to a foreign firmware being downloaded on ur NA console...
so thats why im always cautious to downloading jap or pal titles that just came out...
plus u can always google forums for wii chips to see if other people has complain about firmware updates bricking the console..... after all, you can always download the update later, its an auto update feature...
you download games that is in .iso file.. and then you burn them as an IMG....... using imgburn is perfect for this....
as for homebrews is concern, Wii is officially hack, its only a matter of time for alot of possibilities to come out of the homebrew scene..

um, looking at d2ckey official website, doesnt indicate any firmware/software updates.. so im not sure.... i dont think so
but wiikey does give updates for their chip..
u can always check the comp stores at the honger malls like crystal mall and ask if they can test it for you, i doubt they will do it for free or something..
has anyone tried to play any online games on a modded wii? i know online games are obscured but with xbox live being screwy for the past 2 weeks, im itching to give my wii a try
medal of honor heroes 2 is an open online multiplayer, but the thing is, its made by EA, so it goes through the EA servers
i made an account, gets into the lobby, and join the game
but once i join the game, it keep saying i got disconnected..

i have very limited knowledge in other kind of modchip for the wii
i have a wiikey, and so far i hav no problems with it whatsoever, their website does provide firmware updates when necessary, the latest game i have downloaded is Nights (which is a shit game btw) which runs some kind of glitch and causes my wii to freezes during cut scenes... but its minor....
but the only obstacle the wiikey has ever ran problems with one game that isnt or wasnt compatible was Mario Galaxy but they fix that problem back in nov.......
also, i hav the region overrided so i can play pal and jap games, while some of my friends couldnt figure out how to override the region lock on their own consoles with the wiikey......... even i cant figure out theirs....

yea i wanted to play galaxy really, thats the only thing i want to play, that and RE4 but i dono how that one will be affected.
the thing is i want to update, apparently there is diff updates for diff chips? i honestly dont know which one i have, my friend modded mine and now hes out of province for school so im pretty much hooped. i've tried asking him just waiting for reply.
i did update it once, while playing strikers football (not soccer) so im guessing theres another one following that one.
