unfortunately only for today, thats why alot of people came to get the bundle..

generally you can think of it in 2 ways

each game cost $45, better than $59 right?

or u pay for COD4 for $60, and add an extra $30 for a semi brand new game....... which sounds better that way..

AC has amazing draw distance, it really does make you feel next gen, wait til you see the tower castle from the ground where the bottom town/village is....

I am jumping on the Assasins Creed Defender bandwagon

and its crazy how AC is getting more buzz not because of the game but because of the mix reviews it got, its either high as in really high or low as in acceptable but not bad..

here is one of the headlines..

If Star Wars had ended with Luke jumping into his X-Wing to go take on the Death Star that would be a shitty fucking ending. It doesn't though, Luke destroys it and then we get hints about what's in store for our heroes. I'm telling you right now Altair destroys his Death Star."
Repetitive, boring: "Imagine what an open ended sandbox title must look like to a reviewer especially right now. How many games do they have piling up on their desks? A game like Assassin's Creed isn't meant to be played under a deadline. You shouldn't be trying to beat it as fast as you can so you can move on to Mass Effect or Mario Galaxy. As soon as I gave myself a deadline all of a sudden I understood all their complaints. It was like a fucking Escher painting. I had put myself in their shoes and suddenly the landscape flipped and I could see games from their perspective. In the end I wasn't angry at them for their bad reviews. I actually just felt bad for them."
If you picked up Assassin's Creed, are you enjoying it like Gabe (and we) are, or do you think the 7s are deserved? And please, just because the artist likened Altair and Assassin's Creed to Star Wars doesn't mean we need to start comparing him to a Jedi -- so don't.

dont know why they're hating on the game. i gotta agree that the AI is pretty dumb. but almost everything else makes up for it. i like the combat as well. its unique and its not really a button masher. at least ubisoft will know what to do for the sequel now lol

I used to watch Jade Raymond on Electric Playground couple of years back, always thought she was hot and surprisingly she knows video games very well....

anyways does Uncharted support 1080i resolution? i havent downloaded the demo yet and i just saw some stores have the game on sale already

on the back it just says 720p hd support but iv been reading a bunch of internet forums saying it also support 1080i....

dub all PS3 games "support" 1080i - if you have your console set to that res, the console will upscale the image. Very VERY few games are native 1080i/p.

i hav an older HDTV, or lets say an HDTV ready tv..

so my tv only supports 480p and 1080i

so games like Resistance and Heavenly Sword gets downgraded to 480p no matter what... because their maximum output is 720p..

Lair has 1080i support, so it does display in 1080i

im just asking about Uncharted because i read some stuff on Gamefaqs forum that despite the box say it only supports 720p, it actually display it too (or upconverts) to 1080i..

Ps3 doesnt have an upconverting chip like the 360 has

ugh i need to get a new HDTV soon...

I'm pretty sure that since most games run at native 720p, when you select 1080i it scales from 720p, not 480p. There would be no reason to do otherwise.

i posted the exact same thing almost 1 year ago.........

and no, my hdtv does not support 720p resolution, i mentioned that before..

i just had a simple question of if Uncharted does support 1080i

The only one I've beat so far is COD4. I've played a bit of NHL 08 and I'm playing NFS as we speak

BestBuy on cambie should still have a few left... I was there 2 weeks ago and they had about 8 on the top shelf near the music section.

Electric Playground became a G4 exclusive so other channels lost the rights to airing the show, like Global

i loved the show though, Tommy Tallarico is hilarious

and i think the show is still produced in van...

for those playing Assasins Creed

have any of you guys defeated the Templars in a straight sword fight?

iv always snuck up behind and assasinate them

however, when you get to Jerusalem, or other cities, when you encounter a Templar, u cant even trick them by blending in.. they still spot u

i always get my ass whooped so i just book it to the closest hiding spots.. their insane to fight with..

they always detect me when i try to assasinate them straight up...so i end up killing them in sword fights...they key is to counter their attack then dice them when they're down.

whats up with killing the templars anyways? I dont think i can find all of them to kill too...

is there a way to 'find' them on the map?

is it a part of your mission?
