ps3 40gb comes with spiderman3
didnt give me the percentage off since they said the deal was alrdy too good as they included ratchet and clanks + a hdmi cable
but the cable is worth <$10
well basically i got a free game from it, since they were selling the 40gb for $379.99+tax
all good for me

if your talking about the demo, goto the store>press the games tab>press full games> dl demo
If your talking about the japanese version thats been released, goto www.play-asia.com

but i can still download it using a JPN account that has downloaded the demo before

does anyone know how to get avi files to play on the ps3. some of the files that i burned on to the dvd play but some of them dont. do i need to convert them so then can play on the system?

how are they encoded? I have yet to come across a AVI that can't play on the PS3 (Divx, xvid)

Anyone having problems w/ their PS3 freezing???
More specifically my NHL08 keeps freezing. Usually after an hour or so of gameplay. Kinda annoying.
Is there any known problems with the system (ie. xbox360 and ring of death)?

I've had my copy of NHL 08 since Oct 2007 and have played over 300 games online and it only froze on me ONCE.
For the past couple of days, though, the game seems to take longer to load (when connecting to EA's server) and a lot of games are quite laggy resulting in some very frustrated losses.... lol
I don't think it's the game or the system that's causing these slow loading times, it's probably EA's servers.

for those who play Unreal Tournament 3, and always wished to play it in a Gears of War-esque type of view, the user release mod tool kit has finally enable to do this... 
now to figure out who get this DLC.... looks like ill be playing this more now... source
also PS3 has finally enable Blu Ray movies to be "copied" and played on the PSP.. in an effort to make up for the UMD flop crisis.... source | |
