I feel you when you say that games are getting more complicated. Thats why I use classic controls playing all the nhl games. Whatever happened to using buttons for actions ? Now u have motion censors, joysticks and mutiple button pushes to do moves in certain games.

i got a modded wii and i got like 100 games......... and its still collecting dust..

im definitely picking up Socom Confrontation in oct.... just because it will be bundled with the first official Sony bluetooth headset... way better than the Jabra one that came with Warhawk last year.....

i've got Wii and PS3, and if the PS3 didnt play music and BR's it would be more of a paper weight then the Wii for me

thing aobut the wii and other modified systems is that once u have every single game u never put any work into any of them. u play one, then jump to the next before you even past the 2nd level.

Great ... I think my PS3 just died on me, it won't detect any BR-discs or games at all.

I agree. I've learned my lesson long ago. I've been at the point where all I'm doing is acquire new games. My Wii, and now my PS3 carry on in life, un-modded.

And I think that is covered within 1 yr of your purchase, with Proof of Purchase provided.

My warranty expired last month (if its 1 yr) :( what rotten luck...

Do you know if they still service (at a price) if its no longer covered?

I've been out of the PS3 loop for awhile, and I read some reviews and they're mainly focused on how the original 40GB did not have WiFi capabilities while the 60GB did, or that later on the 60GB one had more support for backwards compatibility than the 80GB. I'm pretty much deciding on either a 60GB or 80GB right now, is there much difference between the two aside from memory? If you were me, which would you get?

60gig one has a different chip set which supports backwards compatability
but good luck finding one, those are super rare now
as for the 80gig, you better hope to find one that is either the mgs4 bundle or one that is older, cuz the newer ones don't support backwards compatability

Do all the 60GB ones have backwards compatibility including the new ones or just the old ones? I take it the only suporting backwards compatibility 80GB one is the one with metal gear solid 4. If I don't have that many PS2 Games, would it be okay to just go with any newer ones on the market?
