couldn't disagree more. i thought God of War was a killer game and this looks like GoW but with a chick with big knockers and a giant sword. sounds okay to me.

lol every hack and slash action game looks like GoW,
but not all of them are that good.

Okay it LOOKS nice, but by most accounts it doesn't play so well.

yeah i hear ya, this quote from the gamespot review is bodes poorly for Heavenly Sword.

One quick scene had Kai speaking impishly and enigmatically directly into the camera, while another depicted Nariko's arena fight with the bulbous, disgusting Roach as his father King Bohan looked on. The characters' movements, vocal delivery, and especially facial expressions were almost startlingly lifelike and certainly far above par for cinematic scenes in most video games, and such high-quality presentation of the storyline made us all the more interested to see how the game's narrative arc will play out.

Though the playable demo was sadly brief, the time we spent playing Heavenly Sword was well spent, and we got even more interested when we saw all of the skill and artistry that Ninja Theory, Serkis, and Weta Digital have brought to bear in creating the game. btw: skinnypupp is a bit of a 360 fanboy so his opinion is a bit skwewed (http://www.revscene.net/forums/showt...hreadid=481376). Same as my opinion on the 360 though.

Anyway, yeah, it got a good review from one of the people who played it. Note that they are only showing the one part of the game that they have been showing for years (the same part that was shown on "Heroes")

I have nothing against this game, I have absolutely nothing against the PS3. I just think these Japanese hack and slash games are all the same. This one adds some amazing graphics and animations, but beyond that, it looks like yet another Japanese hack and slash. Just keep tapping that button!

In this case though, I am obviously right. You called me a fanboy for refuting a bullshit article that was completely false and fabricated. I called you a fanboy for being a fanboy, saying Microsoft "rushed something to the market" and that's why their hardware is failing, as if Sony could have released their console at any time but chose not to, or Microsoft knew their consoles were going to fail but released them anyway.

Yup, I just played through it. It's the exact same 7 minute sequence they have been showing for 2 years now. Part of me wonders if there even is any more to this game other than this demo :lol
