i thought you could do that? the only i can't is an update for the game or a system update..which sucks, but then i just flip over to my cable box instead. :)

Yes you can play games while downloading. However, you can't play online while downloading as it uses too much bandwidth and your download will be paused but offline gaming is fine.

Slim can output HD sounds through Bitstream.

Playstation 3 Model Guide Updated

So I took apart my PS3 and clean up the interior because of the fan noises.

barely any dust inside though, so I air dusted it and reapplied thermal pastes.

not as bad, but still loud as fuck.

God damn, anyone has another fix for the fan noise? Is there a replacement quiet fan that I can get from say NCIX?
