how much do you want to spend? a decent header that is popular is the R-crew header. i also read that the Skunk2 header that just came out makes a lot of power for the price. :)

not much, basically dont wonna spend any money right now. Just picked up test pipe for cheap.

Therefore i dont know if its worth it picking up a cheap aftermarket header since i heard shorty is pretty useless unless u get full race header?

therefore im questioning myself should i just live with OEM header + test pipe combo vs spending more moeny on a shitty header with test pipe and see minium gain?

hmmm, sorry looks like the Skunk2 K-header is only for K-swapped cars at the moment so forget that idea.

it's a tough call. i think you should leave it for now until you save up the beans for a race-header.

if you're going for a true race-header, chances are the piping length near the collector will NOT work with your test pipe anyways and you'll probably need to do some custom work to mate it up with your J's exhaust (nice exhaust btw!).

custom header will run you an arm and leg though. my friend has an SMSP header for his BB6 and it cost him approx. $1500 in the end...made a lot more power than his Mugen header that he replaced.

yah bang for the buck, a JDM K20(R) header will probably be better than the stock S-header you have now (so long as the collector matches the testpipe).

Toda makes a beautiful header...it's a shame though that you can't see these things with the K-series.

yes buy a dvi-hdmi adapter,
you can output sound numerous ways,
if you have a receiver just hook up the rca cables to it.

also if you want it to go through your computer speakers you can plug in the RCA's to the line-in on your sound card but you need an adapter for that too,
that's how i used to have it setup because my ps3 was right beside my computer and i was able to use the speakers for both my computer and ps3.

oh and you'll have to go into your ps3 settings and make sure video is on hdmi and sound is through the rca

yup i hooked up my ps3 to my 1080p lcd monitor with a hdmi to dvi cable and the sound i just use a optical cable to hook it up to my z5500 only thing is now i'm stuck using an analog for my computer :(
