hoping someone who has both or has played both can give an opinion. i can't decide which NBA game to get. its between NBA Live 09 and NBA 2K9. I know that Live has better graphics, but i hear 2K9 has better gameplay. reading reviews online don't seem to help much as i find the same amount of good reviews as bad for both games. For some reason i'm leaning more towards Live 09 because EA always does a good job on NHL. anyone have anything to add? :)

I like 2K basketball games more because the gameplay imo is way better. For hockey I would always get EA.

i personally prefer NBA 2K9. 2K's gameplay is much more realistic than live and it feels just like you're playing a genuine NBA game with it's pacing, AI and everything. so if you're looking for more of a genuine NBA feel to gameplay then go with 2K9. the graphics aren't bad either. if you like more of a run and gun fast paced type of feel then go with nba live. you can simply break down the D with the right analog stick and just go to the rack each and every play.

yeah i just signed up for a UK account too and the demo is currently 10%. can't wait! damn demo is gonna take up some valuable time that i should use to be studying for my final tomorrow lol

ufc 2009 is pretty fun
it'll take some time to remember every little thing, but knocking out liddell was fun
