For the people who played the inFamous demo already, how is it? and how big is the city? I don't trust reviews now days...

I can't believe that heavenly sword isnt a greatest hits title, that game is so old and some people are still trying to sell their used copy for $40.

I just want to confirm with u guys, you can't download anything (demo, movies, add ons etc...) and be playing a game on ur ps3 right? cuz I've tried a few times and once I started to play the game the download would stop.

i always download with the "download in background" option. most of the time the downloads stops, but sometimes they continue and when it's completed a confirmation box pops up on the right hand corner while i'm playing the game (most recently the x-men origins: wolverine demo).

btw, Ragdoll Kung Fu: fists of plastic is free for download if you have a US account or simply change your information board to United States. Canada is still $9.99. This is for the full game.. I guess Sprint is doing a promotion or something :)

so, i just got a new HT tower that i put my ps3 in

it's got about 5 inches of space between the right vents...and another good 7 inches in the rear vents

after my ps3 runs for 30 min the fan kicks into high gear...so noisy and i go touch the ps3 and it's pretty hot.

it's not enclosed by glass or anything..and the back of the tower isn't totally enclosed either.

i know the weather's getting warm so i was just wondering if you guys' ps3 are getting really loud as well? I didnt play my ps3 last summer so ive no idea if it's normal to get pretty hot.

should i be worried about overheating in my new HT stand? Doe the PS3 shut down automatically if it's overheating? I dont want my $600 ps3 to die..im out of warranty lol

my ps3 is in the open so i don't have any problems with it being too noisy and it's only a little bit warm, nothing out of the ordinary.
and yes the ps3 shuts down automatically if it detects that the system is overheating. if it continues to get extremely hot and noisy it's probably your best bet to take it out of there...if it's already pretty hot after 30mins, imagine how hot it could get after say 4hrs of use.

I just played the demo today. the first time I went through it I didn't really find it all that great, but I enjoyed it more the second time around for some reason. maybe i knew the controls better? all in all it's alright nothing to write home about, but I expected more due to all the buzz about this game. I'll be getting it when it comes out next Tuesday anyways so what the heck...

how do you guys feel about infamous after playing the demo?

i like the game, basic sandbox style game where you can do anything. i like the fact that you have to make choices and how it'll affect you

take it the hell out of that case. it's better off to have vents right lined up with the PS3's vents so the air flows in/out instead of bouncing around in that case and getting sucked back in. the air won't naturally flow in and out of your case without fans so you're having almost the same effect as a closer case, just less severe as there is *some* heat transfer. still don't put a case in a case though, the PS3 case itself is designed to dissipate some heat which you are reducing by putting it in that thing.

if you really don't like the look maybe mock up some kinda of front panel that you can mount on it to change the outward appearance of your PS3?

picked up inFamous today and I'm enjoying it so far. I like that the game is very forgiving as there are checkpoints not far from the point you die in the game. The game just froze on me though so I just took the disc out and turned my ps3 off, hopefully neither the game or my ps3 (froze once few days ago while playing ufc undisputed online) is fucked up. I shall find out tomorrow lol

Sometimes it freezes like that for no reason, but that's nothing major unless it keeps freezing every few min. I picked up infamous too, the game really reminded me of Assassins Creed, like the side missions. Just a little different of doing things. Hopefully, it won't be repetitive later on. btw, did anyone get the gigawatt blade from eb games / gamestop pre order? Is this like unlockable later on or is this really exclusive?
