WTF !!!!!!! Still no sign of the rubber, I'm starting to worry. In my confirmation email from TireRack it said...

Tacking Numbers:

And blank, dammit. It must be held up in customs. Hmmm how much do we want to screw this guy...what are you feeling Lance, 40 weight 50? Yeah I'm feeling a 50% surcharge. Bastards.

NanaimoRx-7 04-16-2003 08:54 PM

So I've been nearly a week without the rex, and I'm starting to get my sorry ass back into biking shape. Just got the new clutch master cylinder form Lordco (Velocity Club Discount Owns joO !!), and I think we're going to try to put it in tonight. I'm worried thought, the line fitting on the current one is perpendicular to the Master cylinder, but the new one is almost 45 degrees to the outside(away from the slave cylinder)....I hope it goes.

NanaimoRx-7 04-16-2003 09:04 PM

15000 views !!!!!!!!! I ownz jOO. Well it looks like I've recruited a fwe people to come watch while I struggle with the installation of this thing. Maybe I shouldn't have started drinking at 5...fuck that (*Cracks another beer*) what's the fun of workin' on the auto without the brewskies....

Hey,I have the driveline.:D I just thought that erebuni kit would be a good way to top it off.:D Heres the project car in question.Project 7 I only paid $600 for it so I don't care.It only has one rust hole on the body.:D My Mig welder will fix that with a patch panel in under a hour.:D

NanaimoRx-7 04-17-2003 12:11 AM

Arrrrrg. Penis. No luck yet, time for a post on the big forum. Worse comes to worse it'll be a Stage 1 clutch kit from Oz.

Billet steel lightened flywheel

Heavy duty pressure plate (steel)

Sprung centre, ceramic button clutch plate

The only bad thing would be the wait....

REV scene rx7..... nice....

hey I am new to this particular rx-7 board but it seems to be alright. For those of you more interested in specific RX7 stuff try team fc3s or bcrx7 both of these have exellent info. I was just wondering what the rx scene is like in victoria, I have an 86 gxl N/a with an intake pacesetter catback ( racing beat header coming) a supra style wing and a short throw shifter.
Nothing too major but I love these cars they are revy little shits and a street port will have you smoking those cocky little 5.0 liters with a 1.3 muahahahaha
:whipped:

Timpo 04-18-2003 09:50 AM

rx-7 rulez

Timpo 04-18-2003 09:51 AM

hey I think you can ask bcty or nanaimorx-7 if you can join the island rx-7 team.:)

NanaimoRx-7 04-18-2003 10:43 AM

Ha ha, yes our infamous screening process...
  • Drive/Have an Rx-7 (Or anything rotary if you've got it)
  • Live on the island
  • Like driving
  • Want a discount at Lordco on parts

Well I think I'm going to drop the tranny today and have a peek at my pressure plate. I've got this bad feeling that I've lost something in there...actually I suspect when I split the tranny back from the engine that there will be a shower of metal shards hitting the floor. I've wanted a lightweight flywheel and upgraded clutch for the longest time, I was just hoping to do it at the end of summer not now when I'm trying to put my suspension together. Oh well, that's how she goes.

For the new page.:D

NanaimoRx-7 04-18-2003 01:06 PM

That is one of the most blatant post whores I've seen in recent times from this thread. Good job. Note, because of the sheer size of this bloody thing, I've upped my posts per page up to 40. It helps with the amount of page turning. Also means this isn't a new page for me...hmmm. I've have to break a fresh one soon.

NanaimoRx-7 04-18-2003 01:08 PM

We're up to page 90 by my count. What does it show for you guys?

My bad, my bad.

Speaking of that, it's leaning more and more towards a toasted clutch. And still no sign of the tires, what the hell did UPS do with them?
