hey i have another exhaust question for u guys, im still a n00b but i wanna make sure it gets done right

right now i am current running duals N1 rep. mufflers with some piping, i want to run straight pipe off the manifold to the mufflers, what exactly can the shop i get it done at take out ? cuz i remember hearing about the air pump or w.e

but if u can tell me exactly what to tell the shop that would be good

The air pump is in your engine bay. It's unneccessary if you get rid of the cats (which running a straight pipe from the manifold back will do for you) but it doesn't make much difference if you leave it on, I'm reading. It's just a bit of extra weight, and it steals a miniscule amount of power that you'd never notice through it's operation. Taking it out isn't too hard, but not a matter of unbolting it, either. You need to either modify the belt to work for the other things it powers (water pump or something? can't remember) or get a new shorter belt. Ask Tommy, he's a ninja with the emissions removal. =)

get a straight pipe made from the manafold back.. you will have a metal pipe that runs from your engine to the main cat.. tell them to cut that back as close to the engine as possible.. you cna remove this later.. just do that and when you get home remove your air pump.. you dont need another belt right away butr it does help.. you can buy a 21.5" alt belt from lordco and slip it over the water pump and main pully.. this is probally the best and cheepest option.. if you need help removing anything.. I can help.. Ill boot downthere or you can come up here or whatever.. We can get a few of us together..

oh p.s - my car will almost be done.. I am though with it.. All I need is

- Few bugs fixed from engine swap
- New Paint Job
- New winshield
- Black Leather Seats (FD or FC)
- Maybe a Turbo Timer + Sweet Alarm
- Oh and possibly a bigger wastegate.. I can do that myself

My fogs are not for sale. They are staying on the car when I sell it. But I did order the same fogs Tyler has. Gonna keep those ones for the TII and keep my current headlights and put stock ones back in when car sells.

Those white bulbs I got for the front of my car from Lordco the other night do not work in the front. I gotta get ones with 2 bumps on the bottom instead of one like the ones I bought had. But good news is the new ones worked in the reverse lights so my reverse lights no longer have a yellowish colour to them, they are straight up white with maybe a SLIGHT tint of light blue. Much better looking. :D

Anyways, just so you all know I am offering a $150 finders fee for anyone who finds someone to buy my car. :D
