And you guys are right to an extent with RWD vs AWD. any RWD car running slicks ,or drag radials and live axles can easily equal and AWD launch . however IRS cars generaly have bad wheel hop issues. to give an example of IRS cars with wheel hop, the worlds fastest supras switch to ford 9" rears ,and use GM 2 speed power glide trans. and with slicks they can pull some 1.5 short times.
On average an AWD car drivin right , will always out 60' a properly driver RWD car. | I can totally attest to the wheel hop issue.
BTW George says he could never get off the line faster than Lemon, and George is the fucking man when launching a RWD car. I'd be extremely surprised to see Tyler outlaunch Lemon.

Got the poly bushings ordered along with some 4-point harnesses yesterday, should be rather fun I'm thinking.

Hey Tyler, are you working on Friday at all? I am gonna be down and around in Nanaimo possibly during the day and then maybe going out that night (not sure on that yet), so if your gonna be around then maybe we should hit up Lordco or something for some parts...lol...mmm...good ol Lordco! Anyways, let me know if your gonna be around and I will stop by if you are.
later

hmm...maybe I can find something...but I haven't seen any FD for $18k lately though...I saw an FD in Nanaimo for $17000 or something. I think it's sold now.
I'll keep my eyes open though. |
