Me? Indecisive, neeeeevvverrrrrr!
But seriously, yeah I happen to be a bit of a fence sitter mainly because of lack of cash flow I guess being the sole provider for 2 people can get to be hard on the project, either way. I happen to think that cutting into your frame to install another subframe that has never been (documented) successfully used on the street isn't what I'd call indecisive; much more inline with wreckless, stupid, foolosh etc, etc.......
Well tomorrow I'm gonna start, and hopefully finish, the new swaybar mounts and perhaps take a look at how I'm gonna mount a front-mounted 12A onto a subframe designed to mount a mid-mounted 13B, should be fun; good thing I stocked up on C-channel at the junkers.

P.S. Wheres that steering column? (rattles BC-X's cage a little)

Another day of working on the Rex. Got the brakes put togather and bled using my stock FB lines which were a little short but should do as a temporary measure until I can source some braided steel units. Also got most of the sway-bar mounting stuff done. So basically I'm about 2 weekends away from a driveable car. All I need is to get some sort of steering column in there (thinking of swapping in the entire 2nd gen unit if it'll fit), finish with the swaybar, tidy some stuff up (cotter pins and whatnot), and lastly get the engine mounted (solid to the frame all the way baby! well maybe get a bit of rubber in there for good measure)
Anyway just thought I'd share the progress, seems nobody else posts in this bloody thread anymore.

Well it looks like I may get the steering hooked up the weekend if all goes according to plans. With that done there is only the swaybar and engine mounts to sort out. I'm hoping to have everything at least sitting in there in two weeks time. Once I drive it and make sure it all actually works I'm probably going to take it mostly apart and start replacing components like the brake pads, lines and hopefully struts
I understand that these post are pretty repetitive, I really just wanna let you know the project is actually moving ahead. Oh and a big thanks to Treehunter on the BCRX7 forum for getting me a steering column this weekend.
Grant

Hey, anyone of you turbo motor swapping yahoos have your old NA blocks and stuff lying around. I'm interested in a good running NA motor, s4 or s5 doesn't really matter. Also need the entire intake set-up and would prefer to just buy the whole shooting match.

Where are you located? And how cheap is cheap? Does it run at all? And is it just the coolant seals? How many miles are on it? What year? I may in fact be interested depending on a few things.
