anyone know how much those gel cell batterys go for? and should i get the yellow or red top? i think yellow is for playing your stereo with your car on and red is for playin it with your car off for long times.. just trying to figure out what the best idea is for my case..

NashMan 02-10-2003 01:15 PM

well i can help you on this one

yellow has faster curent draw the the red one and the red oen has bigger charge whiht abut eh same currnet draw as the yellow one

so this si you answer when driven down the street where does your car get power from the alt not the batt

so you answer is this if you have big boom you want really fast current draw but for long ativity the red top is great and will last bit longer then the yellow top as in power

so my sujestion is the red top and then get bigger alt

but if you keep teh stock alt then you may wan that extra draw for whe you alt can keep up and then relies on the batt

so i sujest you get the red top one casue wankies don't take that much draw as v8 moster or inline six motor or v based motor

hope this answers you qestion if you have any more qestion feel free to ask

BL/TZ
just wondering...do you have a car?
if you don't, what are you trying to get? an RX-7? or other car?

MidnightMechanic 02-10-2003 04:12 PM

At the moment, I'm still looking for a car. I have been looking at FC3S and AE86 mainly, but I'd probably buy anything that I like.

Timpo 02-10-2003 04:36 PM

I might import this car...(seriously)
1987 Honda Today. 4spd.
0.55L 2cylinder 31HP.
SUPER GREAT ON GAS!!!!

Do you have any good trueno/levin pics that you could post up here Timpo?

MidnightMechanic 02-10-2003 07:26 PM

That's a very kind gesture Timpo, but getting a vehicle to comply with Canadian standards is quite difficult :)
