just a K&N dontcha know!

... ok and a few more parts ;)

direct engine mods related to power output:
6 port 13b with: "tuned" injectors, 5th&6th ports wired open, extended-port/mild streetport, DLIDFIS (dual leading ignitor direct fire ignition system), RacingBeat header, custom exhaust.

just picked up a "3L220" belt so I can get rid of my air-pump and not have the waterpump slip... without getting a dual altenator pulley that is. $4.50 cdn at lordco :)

I also had to ditch my racing beat plug wires :( They were damaged where they connected to the plugs and thus would work themselves loose over time, NGK seem to be fine anyway :)

You did the DLIDFIS already? How easy is it??I have the parts to do it just wondering if it is that easy.I have a link to Jeff's install but the wiring looks wierd on it.Your power output sounds about right for your mods.

BTW Nashman:Your car doubles as a BOAT ANCHOR!!!Rotaries have decent torque especially turbo ones. They just make it after 3500 rpm.Do research before thinking you know all.......... :duh:

Zulu 01-02-2003 08:57 PM

:\

this 3L220 belt isn't as tight as I had hoped... infact it's rather loose... I drove like a retard and temp stayed normal so I guess it's ok.

NashMan 01-03-2003 07:10 AM

i never said they did not have turq i ment down low as in when your driven on slippry stuff hard to drive in snow ice ect

plus all so what thiner tire liek 205 it whould be easyer then a 225 or bigger ect

that was the what teh piss war was all about now if you want argu abotu that then i will not responed to it

Zulu 01-03-2003 06:38 PM

Timpo 01-03-2003 11:59 PM

or www.canadatrader.com

Rx racer 01-04-2003 01:17 AM

I might buy this 89 GXL my friend has on sunday then fix it and sell it.It needs a engine.I told him I'll look at it sunday afternoon. If I buy it I'll drop in a engine the sell that badass Series 5.Nice car.Prolly get around 5500 for it.Really good shape last time I saw it.Before it blew a coolant seal.At least I'll have a Series 5 engine to rebuild on the side after I sell the car.:D

I don't think think he wants a car, but just a MAF unit. That's just my guess though.

NashMan 01-04-2003 08:03 AM

well i just find it funny rx7 are fun in the snow and run great but some times starting em are hard when it really cold but that is what i have herd

as for what i mean take mustage or iroc or other you have about over 200 foot pounds of turq at 1500 rpm mixed whiht the rear thous car have you got one hell of crappy snow car

Zulu 01-04-2003 02:20 PM

Welp I've decided I don't like how loose the 3L220 belt is, I'm gonna look for a 3L215 or 3L210 today and try that instead.

Zulu 01-04-2003 05:07 PM

3L215 doesn't exist, 3L210 is too g'damn tight. SO I just flipped my 3L220 upside down and it's tight enough, lets see if it lasts ;)

Timpo 01-04-2003 10:21 PM

Nashman
have you ever driven your car in the snow? I haven't...

NashMan 01-04-2003 11:15 PM

oh hell yae only when it was na thou a tiny bit when it was snowing thou not much just light feather of of it

turbo are great in the snow cause there is no turq or any thign tell you mash the go fast peadle and still you might not hit full psi caus eof lack of load

as in yu may not hit 3 psi lower or maybe 2

rex are good in the snow any of them cause of the rear diff in them

around here there is like snow fall around here once in blue moon so you don't have to worries just drive to the point were you fell safe

NashMan 01-04-2003 11:17 PM

p0s na based cars are harder to drive int eh snow caus ethe turq is right there as turbo there no turq tell like around 3000 rpm if you drive na it like 1500 ect depending on what car you drive

Timpo 01-05-2003 02:53 PM

RWD cars are not good on snow.

Timpo 01-05-2003 02:53 PM

4WD is the best...
