Took out the secondary butterfly from my intake today and actually wired open the 5th & 6th ports. I didn't actually expect to see any difference from taking them out, but, wow! :)

and, SNOW = fun, if you go slow that is.. fast and these little buggers don't know where the hell they wanna go, losing it is pretty easy as once you're sliding, ther'es no stoppin :)

I had to drive mine last year in the snow.I never want to put my baby thru that again.Did you see that site I posted a link to???Thats a nice way to restore a first gen.:D I pulled the 5th an 6th port sleeves out this time and pulled the airpots to the levers.Nice and clean. Now I just need to fix it.Tommorow I hope to have her running so I can stash it for 4-5 months.

Zulu 12-31-2002 04:52 PM

/..........\

NashMan 01-01-2003 06:30 PM

i did not get owed in any way you turq is alot high in revs then any other car that is made so you kind amade you self look like fool but o well what can you do

You'll note that most of these have a VERY flat torque curve.

Rx racer 01-01-2003 07:18 PM

Carbon fiber hoods doen't shave off much wieght.I say you need to lose that engine. That might help.http://www.nopistons.com/forums/html...cons/spam4.gif http://www.nopistons.com/forums/html...s/blackeye.gif :D

Damn... guess I'll break out the briggs&straton again.

NashMan 01-01-2003 07:39 PM

dud that is dick for turq i am sorry all import are high end power in less it is piston based stroker motor

Zulu 01-01-2003 07:58 PM

i am teh drunka nd I can tell you are teh = dumb.

do you not see the flat torque curves?! Those are on little teeny motors, I posted some small n/a 12as, 13bs, and some turbo 13bs. soe with almost no (stock) boost and osme with more boost. They N/A motors have VERY flat torque ruves... curves... and the turbo ones have, obviosuly due to the nature of boost, a more agressive power curve, however, as you can see there is lots of torque from right down low, even on the older less efficient motors.. you are teh stupid.... i are teh dizzy

NashMan 01-01-2003 08:08 PM

that not that much power that pretty small drive v8 and then you cna complain hell if he has open diff then he can't really bitch at all ether one wheel wounder lsd can get you into turble

turbpo will nto get you into turbo cuase you just ahve to drive in lag then you will nto have prob at all

but i not goign to have piss war cause there si no reson too

plain and simple you say it your car but really in the end it just the person driven in it

Zulu 01-01-2003 08:21 PM

stfu you fuck!@# look at the torque curve, /---\ do you not see taht? I'm putting out an estimated 185~195 n/a horsepower and the same torque, my powerband is a bit peakier than that but it's till pretty flat you are teh dumbarse.... and I have an lsd

Zulu 01-01-2003 08:22 PM

and don't forget these cars are light like 1900-2500lbs with a driver depending on howmuch shit you have in it. my car is 2400lbs. 2400lbs 185~195hp & ft-lbs of torque and an lsd in the snow = lots of interesting funnaya

NashMan 01-01-2003 09:35 PM

no piss war i don't feel liek proveing you wroung

Zulu 01-01-2003 09:44 PM

proving me wrong? Open your eyes, look at the torque and power curves, that's not what you call "no torque" dumbass.

power is like this / and torque is like this - ... that's perfect.. sorry that you can't see that.

NashMan 01-01-2003 10:03 PM

:argue: I am not having a piss war :argue:

Zulu 01-01-2003 11:16 PM

comon, that torque curve is flatter than your mammas chest... I'm not saying it has craploads of torque, I'm saying the torque curve is flat, and depending on what you do to the motor you'll have more or less of it.

NashMan 01-01-2003 11:22 PM

it all come's down to the end the perosn that is driving plain and simple
