A lot of the roads in those third world countries are death traps. From poorly maintained cars, to recekless driving.
In an area that goes from super hot and dry to super wet with rain, people do not have the money to properly maintain their cars. And lack of law enforcement, a lot of their cars should not be on the road from lack of properly working seatbelts, to too many people squished in one vehicle.
On a 2 lane street, it is not uncommon to see them driving 2 cars side by side in each direction. You have motorbikes with 2 or more people on them.

But still, sucks to see it happen. RIP!!!

That's because they haven't yet. If all three were tied for 8th right now, Calgary would hold the tiebreaker for number of wins.

Umm Vancouver and Chicago have both clinched a playoff spot. Your example dosent' work cuz they're not all tied in 8th. What matters is 9th place Nashville. They have 4 games remaining meaning they can get to max 93 pts, the Canucks have 94 and Chicago has 95.

Edit: nvm, something screwy here: the most Nashville can get is 92 points (84 now, four games left for a max of 8 points).

we clinched the moment we got that 1 point from the ducks game. It was updated on NHL.com that night as well. Doesn't matter if nashville catches us (which they can't now since they lost their last game) since st. louis will never catch us.

Anybody else go to the signing today? I got there just before 9am and I was about 15th in line... ended up further back because this douchebag brown guy let like 3 families budge in front of me at 10-10:30am. When my friend confronted them about it they denied budging at all.

I think I'm going to start collecting gloves now... the players seem to reminisce a lot when they see their old gloves and they immediately ask questions and chat compared to signing some photo or jersey they've seen thousands of times. He said my skate jersey brought back memories too... didn't say anything about the authentic home he's probably signed a million of those by now. Trevor's the most talkative and friendly one out of all the signings I've been to... not that I'm saying the other players aren't friendly, but I like how Trevor talks to you like he knows you.
