Most likely the one downtown.
If that "integrity team" just took a walk down Robson and then down Denman on any given Friday or Saturday night, I can almost promise you they'd hit a goldmine of fines and violations.
Jang Mo Jib is most definitely not the only one who is "bending" the rules when it comes to workers' visa eligibility.

Brent Seabrook's dad is a cheeky cunt.
His mom is really nice though.
I used to work for him before I found a shop that actually paid people what they're worth.

Worked for car rental company, I could go on and on about it but I'll divulge one thing that always bugged me.
John rents car, john curbs rim, John returns and pays to fix rim. Car rental company is short on cars (Because we always overbook. Always, by a large margin. So if everyone does show up, we are almost always completely fucked) so we re-rent john's car to bob. Bob brings it back with more damage to the same rim, we now bill bob for more damage to the same rim that was gonna be replaced/refinished anyways. Meh, it is what it is!

the fact that they may or may not have been planning on fixing it is irrelevant, you damaged the car more than it was previously
not sure how you could argue that this is wrong

not sure how you could argue that this is wrong | Correct me if I'm wrong. But what he's saying is dude A damaged the car and acknowledged it, so he paid xxx$ amount when he returned it to get the rim fixed. But BEFORE they fixed the rim another guy rented it out and damaged the same wheel again, so he had to pay for it as well. Meaning they got paid twice to fix it once. Posted via RS Mobile |

not sure how you could argue that this is wrong | I didn't give an opinion either way--was just clarifying.
That having been said, I'm of two minds about this.
On one hand, do the damage, pay to fix it. On the other hand, you've just collected double for a single repair. using this same logic, a shady (or even just 'efficient') rental agency could collect damages from each person who rents the car over 3 years never fixing anything, then having the whole thing done at once and pocketing both the interest and the difference. Even if we get one person putting $150 worth of damage every 2 months, that's still $2700 over three years. And that's a lot more than a fresh respray from a place like Maaco (which honestly is all it would need to be sold as a mint car).

Say there was 3 inches of curb rash, if the next guy brought it back with more damage other than the 3 inches of pre-existing curb rash, he would pay also. Quote:

Just a lot of weird shit I could go on and on. And the insurance they push on you so hard, it's essentially useless because although it does cover the vehicle, if you read the fine print there are so many technicalities which cause it to be void. Further to that, any decent credit card will carry a zero deductible zero fault coverage. Whether it was your fault or not, you are covered 100% and there's no deductible. These are just fundamental flaws I found, even more shady shit happens based purely on the fact that there's so much commission to be earned

some times when you work at a car dealer, and there's a fast food chain across the street you can often get a 5-10% discount by telling them you work there.
When I first started training at mcdonalds years back, I saw someone drop a bag of nuggets into the fry vat, skim it out with the plastic bag mostly melted into the oil, and dump new nuggets into the fryer. ugh.... |
