I don't even know where to begin. The moment I stepped in there, nothing was clean. Grease EVERYWHERE. Floor, walls, counters, doors, equipment, ceilings. It turns out they don't get their exhaust serviced every year like they're supposed to, so their filters are all clogged, and grease just settles everywhere in the kitchen.
Also there was a food strainer placed over the toilet in the staff washroom. I don't even wanna know why.
Absolutely unacceptable. I felt bad for the people eating there. | Wow, the last company I was at was nearby and they LOVED going to this place for functions. Always knew something was fishy about it, usually empty, shitty sashimi, overworked staff, mediocre food. Good to know - I'll pass on the word!!

If you want to make a million dollars in porn, simply copy the guys at facial abuse, it is literally THAT EASY to make millions in porn. You have to be as funny and as cruel as them though.
I would guess they make over a million a month, I could be wrong, but they make massive money and it's a small team of guys who find chicks to fuck and film

He straight up TOLD us that they had no pest problems, they service the equipment regularly, everything's clean, etc etc.
Of course when I get in, I can hear mice still alive in the traps
Their exhaust fans were literally dripping with old grease because they never changed the filters or maintained the units themselves.
I have no idea how they pass inspection.

My boss is cheating taxes with an unfinished building. He deliberately "forgot" to put in half a wall just to pay less taxes. There's just a big tarp hanging where a wall should be.

I work in a federal government office building at the Library Square that has some of the strangest sightings you'll ever see in an office.
Example? CBSA, Canadian Border Services Agency, has a detention centre on one of the floors of the building. My co-workers and I sometimes see RCMP constables escort convicts from the detention cell into elevators.
At first I thought, "Is this some crazy cosplay shit going on here?" when I saw two convicts in red jumpsuits go into an elevator. Then when my co-workers saw the constables in uniform with their guns and bullet proof vests, escorting two convicts in handcuffs, only then did I know that they were doing some serious work.
-typical sighting inside the elevators of the government buildings at library square:

You never know if they'll have convict escape or any drama go down.

There's no such thing as a "sale". All these events they create like Red Tag Sales, Midnight Madness Sales etc. They're all BS. You can get those prices any day. |

My former life as a Warehouse Worker for Large Food Distribution Center
- Anyone can get a job there. They hire on the spot if you can lift at least 40lbs and have IQ higher than a chimpanzee. There are some pretty shady and dodgy characters that work here - namely high school dropouts and people with records. It's a pretty high turnover industry which is why they offer you bonus when you hit certain hours.
- You get trained for about a 1 week on the palate machines and warehouse safety. When we slack off we'll often race on the machines in the warehouse. We'll call it warehouse wars!!
- The warehouse has seperate sections that caters to deep cold fridge and regular fridge. Temperature ranges from - 40 C (where they store ice cream and frozen stuff) to your everyday grocery items.
- Your bread, buns, cakes, pastry are all pre baked and frozen. They rebake it on site in most of the large grocers.
- YES there is mice in the warehouse roaming around.
- The easiest and worst shit to pack and ship is whole crates of Milk we are talking about crates when assembled that are 7ft tall by 5ft. It's the worst if the palatte tips and you got all this milk in the aisle. What's worse is we'll sweep it to the side and the shit rots and reeks for days!!!!
- When we drop something on the floor, packages of fruit, cans, whatever we'll dump it into the palatte and ship it off to let the Store deal with it. Chances are they'll resell it to you.
- We are clocked to see how fast it takes to collect the items and assemble one palette. It takes anywhere from 5-20 minutes depending on the order.

It's just like some of the mega houses you see. They'll have this huge deck on the second floor of a new home. As soon as everything is inspected and approved they fill in the space under the deck with walls and just added a bunch of SF to the house which will probably be another suite. There are some people out there that will take advantage of the system every chance they get and intentional or not it costs all the other tax payers in the area and the city more money.
It's actually one of my pet peeves because I really don't have a problem paying my fair share but the more people that fuck the system the more myself and every other honest person out there has to pay.

Door opens and all I could initially see was an afghani guy in an jumpsuit with his hands shackled together. Nearly shat my fucking pants.
Only till the door opened fully did I see the 2 CBSA officers on either side. They said, "oh, we'll wait". Couldn't get the door closed fast enough.

I remember in my parents house, for one bathroom, they put in a really shitty faucet that totally didn't match anything else just to pass inspection. Afterwards, they replaced it with the faucet they had originally chosen - except it wasn't CSA approved...
I guess the inspector's job isn't to monitor what's will happen in the future - it's just to see if what is currently there is up to standards!

The lot is shared with the Co-owner's 2nd house.
It's a pretty big shop, and it sits right next to the house with a fence right next to it, on waterfront property.
So to cheat taxes, they
- "ran out of money" to finish a wall, which is 10 ft away from the Paint booth
- Paint booth vents are never on, since there's a big draft that carries all the fumes towards to River.
- Shitty ATCO trailer out on the yard with only one toilet. Toilet's been broken for years.
- Ethernet cable that comes out from the house, up a pole, past the fence, around the roof of the shop, and into the office Router, for Internet.
This is only from what I see. God knows what else they do to cheat.
Oh, and they also don't give overtime pay, so everybody fucks off at exactly 4:30. The only way to make money is to do the piece work I mentioned in my previous post.
But they do supply gloves, earplugs, and Mask lenses. Orders go through the delivery guy and the Leadhand, Boss doesn't even look at the bill, so I've been ordering a few more lenses than I need to. |

The federal government's Service Canada department has a Integrity team of staff that does onsite visits of employers to ensure that they meet all program requirements when they hire foreign workers to work at their establishments.
There's one employer, a restaurant called Jang Mo Jib, that has sketchy management. A group of these Integrity officers paid a visit to JMJ one time, with advanced notice to the employer, in order to check up on the work conditions and the foreign workers.
Some co-workers told me that those officers found JMJ's managers hiding out in the restaurant's freezer during the visit. The foreign staff told the officers that the managers were not at the restaurant at that time.
Why were they trying hide from the officers? Hmm.
