Great macro's NVM! I still think you should get the MPE though! Keep on posting your macro's, i enjoy them!

i'm sure i'll eventually get one. i pretty much shot all these with the focus set, and leaned in till the subjects were in focus, like i would have to do with an MPE.

NVM: seriously. where do you live/work? because those bugs are freaking me out and i want to stay farrrrrrr away. :o

so, i went and tried again with my 20mm Kenko attached to my macro. the last wasps left a few days ago, so all i could get was wasp shit, and focussing to the bottom of the "chambers" was a bitch, but i got this.

Are those larvae at the bottom of two chambers? Pretty amazing what nature can do - those are perfectly hexagonal.

here's a shot from another one. the stigma atop the pistil glows an awesome colour when the flash hits it. you can see the boy bits("white-ish" anthers on the filament tips) going after it!

it was really hard not blowing out the white colours while not under exposing the rest of the plant.
