Snowing hard in Surrey still. Questioning whether I should go clear the driveway now or later.
Drove from New West to Surrey last last night at 1am. Going up the big hill on Nordel after the Alex Fraser, so many people were struggling. This guy in an Audi on summer tires was sliding all over the place, made it to the top of the hill and then went straight into a snow bank  My Nokian G2's handled like a dream and never slipped once, even on small streets with major hills.

Hows the streets right now in East Van going downtown to chinatown/downtown? Coming back from Coq on the #7 and #1 @ 2am last night was horrid.

Hurray for snow. I have to say, I don't see that many idiots on the road this time around. They probably all crashed from the snow last Saturday night. I was disapointed as I drove around at 1AM yesterday looking to take pics of snow carnage.

i couldnt hate the snow anymore. everything on the road tries to kill you, and just going out to have a smoke becomes this horrible wet, cold, and long exp. easily the worst time of year.

i dont understand people that spend so much time shovelling their entire driveway
i just do 2 tracks for the tires, and then the sidewalk and a nice pathway for the newspaper / mailman
done and done.
20 mins tops.

The drive from Pitt Meadows to my parents place in Coq was a shit show, even with snow tires I really should have stayed home... but I love driving in the snow too damn much! | |
