I don't like Lebron Durant nor Kobe, but thanks for that pic lol, it's just the triple double was fckin impressive, yea west won, but Lebron showed the world he's the best all around player in the world, making him the best player, too bad he reeks a douche

Melo really should have faking stayed put till the end of this season, why rush like you're getting chased out of Denver, and just what Charles Barkley said, why the fck would the Knicks give up so much when they could have worked something out to pick him up as a free agent next season without giving up Felton

Dwight does not use his early termination option and stays in Orlando for at least the remainder of his contract which I believe is another year.
CP3 ends up in NY, just as Billups' contract comes off the books for NY.
Deron Williams ends up Dallas.

Mark my words ;)

DeRozan not happy with dunk contest..

"CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan vows he's finished competing in the NBA's slam dunk contest unless the myriad of props that dominated Saturday's event are eliminated.

Asked Tuesday if he thinks he was robbed when he didn't reach the final of the competition, DeRozan replied, "I think so." Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers won by leaping over a car to edge Washington's JaVale McGee in the last round.

"I'm a dunker. Dunk contests, you go out there and dunk. I'm not into all the props and everything," DeRozan said at shootaround before Tuesday's game against Charlotte. "I try to come out with a creative dunk and do it and go from there. My fans liked it and you can see the reaction from a lot of people afterward.

"If there's a dunk contest next year I'll do it. But not no prop dunk contest."

A Los Angeles native and former player at Southern California, DeRozan says he was disappointed in how the contest played out in his hometown after spending extra time practising and preparing creative dunks. He didn't include props such as the car, a stuffed toy and using an extra basket as other competitors did.

DeRozan feels the extra elements cheapens the contest.

"I think a lot of people probably look at it like that. It seems that way when you watch it," he said. "This year I put thought into it. I practised, had dunks ready and everything. It is what it is. I did it two years in a row. I'm good."

Asked if he would reconsider, DeRozan said he would only compete again if the all-star game is held in Toronto or if the rules are changed to eliminate props.

"There's no telling what might happen next year," DeRozan said. "Somebody might use a trampoline."

hahaha

I think two basket dunk was legit though.

Cheerleaders with Africa flag? Maybe...
Teddy bear? No
Car? Nope
Choir singing shit? Hell NO!

LC21 02-22-2011 10:47 AM

Two basket dunk, was kinda boring to watch, imo.

amare == big #1
melo == big #2
billups =/= big #3

G-spec 02-22-2011 11:38 AM

nah fck Billups, I respect him he's a man but he's on his way out old age.....
Chris Paul in NYC would be a perfect fit, off the court hes a nice guy, but on the court he's a grimy edgy type NY nigga, and that's what true NYC point guards are supposed to be all about.

I want this to happen a year or so from now when his time in NOLA is up, just imagine him feeding the two beasts that are Amare and Melo on a nightly basis, guy would average no less than 15 assists per game long as he plays there.

oh man Demarr hit the nail on the fcking head, TNT crew especially Reggie screaming ""OMG the DUNK CONTEST IS BACK, IT"S BACK HOW DO YOU TOP IT NEXT YEAR OMG""
and then they keep going back and talking about how the greatest dunk contest of all time was Nique vs MJ one that was just two guys going at eachother like men, talk about contradiction.
Dunk contest went zombie mode for years because of shitty dunkers not because there wasn't enough props to get the fans cheering

dinamix 02-22-2011 11:42 AM

Bulls are gonna sneak up on teams this year

Derozan shoulda been in the finals though. I agree with no props unless you're jumping over a car from the foul line or something. Something crazy like that.

dachinesedude 02-22-2011 12:33 PM

billups suck now? i dont watch nuggets much, but he used to be good in detroit

roflwaffle604 02-22-2011 03:34 PM

he doesn't really "suck", just not good enough to be considered a 3rd star of a team

G-spec 02-22-2011 03:43 PM

Billups was an all star in his Detroit years but hes at that age, I have no doubt in my mind the type of player he is he's turning into a Jason Kidd, what I mean by that is still very solid in his older years simply because they play the game extremely smart. Billups will finish strong just like Jason Kidd is doing right about now in Dallas, and the other PG to do the same thing will be Andre Miller, they are all basically the same player, style of play very similar smart old school type, minor things obviously vary, but basically the same embodiment of gameplay which allows them to continue to be efficient going into old age.

ya I feel bad for Felton, just pages ago I was talking how happy I was for him to escape the wrath of the PG killer that is Larry Brown and land in NYC, home of the PG especially with a PG friendly coach like D'Antoni.... now his future, I don't know, they're gonna give Ty Lawson the reins as starting point simply because he's been there and done well...

shawn79 02-22-2011 05:04 PM

melo
amare
cp3 :troll:

liu13 02-22-2011 05:24 PM

if NY learns how to play in the half court, they will be deadly

i want to see chauncey backing down rondo and punishing him

LookHere_Sucka 02-22-2011 05:35 PM

Does anyone know if Melo will play in the Heat-Knicks game?

Euro7r 02-22-2011 08:29 PM

Going to be interesting to see how the East winds down for the second half of the season.
