I think a lot of people have had this strong feeling for quite some time...

In other news, Memphis is in talks with Orlando about a trade that would send Zach Randolph, who has an expiring contract, to the Magic in exchange for Jason Richardson and Brandon Bass.

Imagine Dwight Howard and Zach Randolph in the same front line.... :-S

deron williams just got traded to the nets for devin harris and derrick favors and some picks

G-spec 02-23-2011 08:13 AM

^ wtf for real, didn't expect that at all, thought he would stay for the remainder of his deal, but I'm happy for Deron, but fck, the Nets.... lets see who's gonna run with him.. I know Terence will, while Morrow hangs around 3 point line waiting for spot up jumpers, good start but who else....

and i have no idea why the Raptors would pick up James Johnson from the Bulls, they got fuckin Kleiza, Weems, and Julian Wright manning that small forward spot, all 3 are productive efficient players, Weems being the weakest

G-spec 02-23-2011 10:35 AM

ah fck, i just took a look at the Nets roster, they have literally nobody to compliment Deron, shit I know he was frustrated with Utah, I think the Jazz management deliberately screwed him on this deal..

Lopez isn't a strong pick and roll player, he is a strong post presence only against weaker teams though, teams with some real size he just gets lost.....

wow Nets went from possibly getting Melo playoff hopes next year to shithole, 1 day left in trade deadline they got nobody good to bargain with and trade

wuuhoo 02-23-2011 10:58 AM

wow talk about a power shift. West --> East

not expecting that williams deal .. wow

wuuhoo 02-23-2011 11:10 AM

theres like only 4 good teams left in the west lol -_________- right now

n0ob 02-23-2011 12:42 PM

Nets billionaire owner is going to offer Deron a ridiculous extension that he can't refuse. He clearly doesn't care about draft picks and will throw them away to get other stars. Moreover, he doesn't give 2 shits about paying luxury tax. The Nets are going to be a powerhouse, it's only a matter of time.

shawn79 02-23-2011 12:52 PM

if lebron fail with the heat, he will take his skills to brook brook brooklynnnnnnnnn

Maybe they made a mistaking confused betweeen james johnson to James Jones (who won 3 pt shoot-out)?

on the other note, Somebody please trade Rip Hamilton too before deadline.

G-spec 02-23-2011 02:08 PM

^ don't forget about Benzo Gordon! dude's game is sick, everyone is rotting in Detriot matter a fact not just Rip...

whoops I made a typo where you quoted me, Julian Wright being the weakest small forward on the team, not Weems. Weems is on and off, Wright is always solid and Kleiza is a world class proven player who can score and rebound, when he's healthy he starts at SF for the Raptors, he still injured though maybe thats why Raptors picked up Johnson

Raptors are playing in a bit, watching the pregame right now, old school announcer Chuck Swirsky doing interview right now, lol that guy was awesome, ONIONS BABY ONIONS!! he working with Chicago now....

but more importantly Knicks are playing and Melo is starting tonight against the Bucks, I just finished watching the Chauncey, Melo Knicks conference that was live about 20 minutes ago they were both in uniform warmups ready to ball.

why stay loyal if your team's management blows, if KG could go back in time, he'd demand a trade so fast

u forgot about 2007? kobe whining about being traded, if that backdoor gasol deal didnt go through, you can bet kobe would be in the east

hotjoint 02-23-2011 08:22 PM

Hinrich to ATL for Mike Bibby

More like Hinrich to ATL for a 2011 1st round pick and Jordan Crawford. Nobody cares about Mike Bibby lol.

In other news, the Clippers and Cavaliers have agreed in principle to a trade that will send Baron Davis and a 2011 first-round pick to the Cavs for Mo Williams and Jamario Moon.

While it doesn't make a ton of sense on the surface to swap two of the league's more troubled point guards, the Clippers are going to come out of this on top by losing Baron's contract, which will pay him close to $30 million over the next two seasons, while the Cavs want that draft pick. Williams may not even play again this season, while Baron's knee injury is also an issue.

so true! but then i still think west has the best teams to win the title this year (LA, Dallas, SA)

im really liking Dallas right now, their team is STACKED, if Caron Butler comes back, gg

Jermyzy 02-23-2011 11:00 PM

Think nets can convince Deron Williams to stay in New Jersey? Sounds like he is not too happy with the trade...
