Raycroft has looked solid from what I've seen so far.

Let's hope Lu's injury is a minor one. I'm looking forward to watching him represent Canada!

I believe in him. Though raycroft won't be a god, he'll do just fine for now. Plus I think raycroft doesn't need 15 games to get into gear.

Grandmaster TSE 10-28-2009 11:14 AM

go raycroft!!

If he was injured in the game against Toronto, why not dress Raycroft against the Wings or Coilers? A questionable decision imo.

Kev

A week better not turn into one month.

hotjoint 10-28-2009 12:48 PM

raycroft!

silk 10-28-2009 12:48 PM

he is out "at leat" one week, so i assuming its "weeks" ,i dont get why most of the pople think its only "1 week"

NimbeeTT 10-28-2009 12:49 PM

oooh cory schneider is getting recalled to replace as backup
I have enough faith in raycroft to keep the puck out of our net, i really dont wanna see schneider in net again

Probably his decision. I can play through it coach I'm good to go. There's no way he said he was hurt and didn't think he could play and they played him anyway.

Yeah, I figure he was doing the brave warrior thing. Just wish he wouldn't take on that approach so early in the season.

Probably didn't feel the extent of the pain initially.

Scientifically, I don't know how it works, if its adrenaline or not, but there are some injuries that are playable until the very next day which is when usually one starts feeling the full extent of ones injury.

Been there, done that when I just shrugged off a possible-injury to finish a game but didn't start feeling it until the day after.

woob 10-28-2009 01:37 PM

Yeah I broke my hand once while longboarding. I didn't feel it at all. It was 5+ hours before I decided to go to the hospital.

Not really racist! 10-28-2009 03:01 PM

god damn injury bug.

People are gonna throw out the "it's because of the scheduling due to the Olympics."...Russia may not get NHL players for 2014.
But ya I agree lots of injuries...nhl wide.

stuff99 10-28-2009 03:46 PM

Anyone know where I can pick up an Ovechkin Team Russia Olympic jersey?

Hondaracer 10-28-2009 03:48 PM

Nice, Lu's mask won #1 on TSN polls for their mask Anniversery thing, way to go nucks fans lol

Stuff99, i bought my Lu jersey from the hockey shop, i belive they carry the new Russia one but you will have to pay to get ovi put on, probably a similar cost to my Canada Lu one which was $240

Vansterdam 10-28-2009 03:50 PM

o shit

spoon.ek9 10-28-2009 06:56 PM

holy... how many more injuries are we gonna get this season? we're only 12 games in for crying out loud.
