The Leafs got 17 powerplays! Are you kidding me!

The Maple Leafs scored four goals while Anaheim had just three skaters on the ice, including three two-man advantage goals.

The Ducks...are a joke.

But ppl look back now and seem to only remember the goal he let in from the blue line and not the fact he stopped 50 shots and kept the team in the game for 2OT or the series he won against Dallas. Actually, I bet you most ppl won't even remember what I'm talking about. They remember Patrick Kane last yr, the first 3 games this yr, and then it's panic mode.:eek5r::willnill:

IIRC a ~38 year old Linden was our leading scorer in those playoffs. Lots of injuries.

Right now, they're very, very bad. As a diehard Ducks fan (as everyone has probably figured out by now), I'm not worried at all. Yes, they've now lost 4 in a row at home, to the likes of St.Louis, Dallas, Columbus, and Toronto (arrrgh). They're simply too talented of a team to do bad for long...And everything will change. Getzlaf is finally turning around, I'm guessing the injury took a little longer to shake off, Perry's been consistently awesome, Ryan's starting to show life. Even the 2nd line is looking up. What worries me the most is the defence, as having Pronger gone leaves quite the void. They'll learn to get along without him, and it's just a process. Tonight was rock bottom IMO, and the Canucks had better be careful, because my boys are going to be very, very angry.

MR_BIGGS 10-27-2009 08:02 AM

So the Yotes got sold to the NHL....the refs are employed by the NHL...is there not a conflict of interest here??

Good on you for having that instinct...

Who you got on your second ticket for tonight?? I think you had a tie on it right??

I think tonights games are pretty tough to call...

Theres a great one on PHI in WAS on TSN..maybe take the tie?

I bet on tie for both games tonight, DET vs VCR, COR vs EDM.... The chance of winning is slim... but I do get extra pleasure watching the canucks with some money on the line :P

Im thinking purchase another ticket of PHI<WAS but it all depends if I can find myself other reasonable games to bet

im such sucker for sportsaction..damn

I was a sucker for Oddset last year...but I was chasing money..

Other reasonable games eh? There should be some locks (I know there is never a lock in sports) but in the NBA tonight theres

LAC < LAL
WASH < DAL

3seriesBeeM 10-27-2009 08:29 AM

ahahaha I listened to the team 1040 for once on the sportsaction and took the leafs and hawks to win and won 70 sumtin dollars I have to go cash my ticket today but I was listening this morning and I believe $20 got me $70. I was upset that I got 12/13 on toto on the weekend football so I said what the hell and tried the team 1040 best bets and it payed off.

silk 10-27-2009 09:04 AM

Seems like there is many ways of playing the TOTO, thats the only game i dont get.

Expresso 10-27-2009 09:52 AM

I like playing Point Spread more.

Toto all you do is get the menu and guess the outcome of the games on the menu basically. I believe price will be determined on the out comes you chose, because you are allowed to chose two outcomes on one game but it will obviously cost more if you do a lot of those. Its been awhile so I may be wrong, check bclc if you are really serious.

7seven 10-27-2009 12:50 PM

I'm playing oddset tonight, $20, taking Vancouver, Washington and Colorado/Edmonton tie.

On another note, Budaj has the swine flu http://www.denverpost.com/avalanche/ci_13651766

CRS 10-27-2009 12:56 PM

I swear, I need to meet up with one of you guys to figure out exactly how this oddset stuff works out.

I read what you guys wrote down before but the spread for sportsaction seems so different than what you guys are saying.

I've only played several times this year and am in the minus.

I played a lot last year and had some early luck and then after that there was always one game that fucked me over - so I ended up losing a fair amount last year..chasing money playing sportsaction. It's better to use other sites where you can even bet on just one game as oppose to the min of 2 with BCLC. I think some sites even give you better odds and spreads.

I'm itching to put money down on the games tonight - but that Flyers - Caps game is a flip um IMO. 6-5 Flyers last time they played in OT...

HonestTea 10-27-2009 02:14 PM

^ I know fuck!

I want to bet tonight too but last time they met was 6-5 OT...however WAS is riding a 4 game winning streak tonight..

HonestTea 10-27-2009 02:27 PM

Philly/Van/Tie is $400 payout hmm...

Gh0stRider 10-27-2009 02:28 PM

i should start playing sportsaction.

MR_BIGGS 10-27-2009 02:47 PM

When you have money riding on those Wild - Devils types teams...its makes games very entertaining.

b0unce. [?] 10-27-2009 02:59 PM

hey im heading to the game tonight, anyone know the best place around GM place for parking? obviously free would be nice, but cheaper pay parking i guess :P
its been at least a year since i went to a nucks game lol
