I heard Staal got injured too, is he out? |
Salos point shot was what setup the kesler goal last night so I dunno if he's hurting that way, although yea I do agree a few times he opted to pass instead of a one-timer Posted via RS Mobile |
Can't believe Grabner is going to be out for a while.... how bad could his rolled ankle be?? |
Canucks signed Matt Pettinger, on his way to Vancouver now. |

I've rolled my ankle before in which I was only limping for a day or two; and I've friends who've rolled their ankles on BBall that was severe enough to seriously swell the foot for a long period of time. (he may have broken his ankle but is one of those types that refuses to see doctors so who knows). |

Grabner rolled his ankle playing soccer in the bowels of Gm Place. This injury situation is getting comedic.. |

LOL i blame it on the new dressing room... Leaving the players thinking they can actually play around and have a good time! Pft what were they thinking?:p |

They've always played soccer just outside their dressing room by gate 9. They pretty much just get in a circle and try and juggle it and see how long they can keep it in the air. |
sightly OT how much will parking cost nearby GM place on average if I'm going to attend a game ? |

http://www.news1130.com/news/local/m...2_181537_12144 VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - The fighting at last night’s Vancouver Canucks game wasn’t just on the ice. There was a brawl between fans of the Canucks and Avalanche outside GM Place after the game let out. After taunting each other, a friend of one of the Avalanche fans grabbed a couple of beer bottles and hit a Canucks fan over the head. When a witness tried jumping in to break up the fight he was stabbed in the neck with a bottle. Both victims have minor injuries. Police say no charges will be laid because no one involved is co-operating, |
Nov. 02, 2009 The Canucks were only on the ice for 30 minutes on Monday afternoon following their 3-0 win over the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday night. Matt Pettinger was on the ice less than 24 hours from signing a contract with the club. Called up from the Manitoba Moose, Pettinger will wear the #13 formerly worn by the likes of Mats Sundin, Artem Chubarov, and of course Lars Lindgren. Although it wasn't released by the team, the Victoria native is believed to have signed a two-way NHL contract, making the league minimum of $500,000. A couple of injury updates for the team came up today as well. The latest injured player, Michael Grabner, had a MRI done Monday morning on an ankle that was injured in off-ice warm up activities on Sunday. Although he doesn't know the findings of the MRI, head coach Alain Vigneault indicated it was more likely ligament damage than a fracture. Roberto Luongo was on the ice with goalie coach Ian Clark for about a half hour before his teammates were on the ice. Still no time-table for his return to action, but Vigneault conceded Luongo will likely play "sometime" on the team's upcoming five-game road trip. Ryan Johnson is still suffering from "overall body soreness" which would include a concussion, and is not ready to skate yet. Daniel Sedin is walking in a walking boot and will likely have another X-ray Friday to see how his broken foot is healing. Those results will likely determine how quickly he'll be able to get back on the ice. Jannik Hansen is skating on his own after suffering a broken hand in pre-season and will likely return to the line-up within the next two weeks. Vigneault indicated that anybody who leaves with the team on Wednesday for their upcoming ten-day road trip would have a chance to play in one of the five games on that trip, and that includes Luongo. Here's how the Canucks skated today in a practice Burrows - H. Sedin - Bernier Raymond - Kesler - Samuelsson Glass - Wellwood - Rypien Hordichuk - Bliznak - Pettinger Mitchell - Bieksa Salo - Edler O'Brien - Ehrhoff Schneider - Rome Raycroft Schneider http://www.team1040.ca/news/story/?id=2559 |
