Quick question. I have HDTV. I was wondering if the sound is in true 5.1 or is it processed by the amplifier I have hooked up to the Shaw cable box via optical cable. I ask because CBC HD games seem to suck ass, as far as sound goes. Fan sounds cutting in here and there. Nothing consistent. TSN is good and so is Sportsnet. I have an old 5.1 A/V amp. Perhaps Soundy can help out here.
