That penalty on Burrows at the end while we were on the powerplay - WHAT THE FUCK was that call? Burrows was just positioning himself and barely touched the other guy.

I don't like to call people out but these refs need to get a fucking beat down.

Fucking 3 point game between the Flames and Avs. Not a good night and now we have to go away and face a hot Wild team on Wed and come back and play the Pens.

Indeed the refs got back at Burr by calling the dumbass last call.
Burr also said that the ref costed them not only the game but the two points may have costed the Canucks a playoff position,

Burrows call was the biggest BS call ever. What kind of stupid fucking ref makes that call with 5 mins left in the game. And what ref makes that call when they've been making soft calls against the Canucks all night long.

I haven't been this pissed at the refs for a LONG time. I mean I'm ok with the occasional shitty games here and there but the last 4 or 5 games it's just been BRUTAL.

I have no idea how this whole thing works anymore (what's going to be called/not called) and this is starting to turn me off from the sports.

Can someone fill me in on what happened? I know the last few games the reffing was terrible and noticed all the bad calls but what happened this game. SPECIFICALLY.

In a nutshell, the refs made some soft calls throughout the game so fast forward to the 3rd period, there's 5 mins left, Canucks get a PP but that lasts a few seconds because Burrows supposedly interfered by tripping some mofo in front of the net which wasn't the case. A few seconds later on the 4-4 hank trips up a Preds player behind the Preds net, another weak call imo which sets up the 4-3 for the Preds which they score on and win the game.

I heard on the radio, couldn't hear exactly what was said but it was something about Burrows disrespecting a Nashville player in the last game the Canucks played against them and that's why the ref's gave him a misconduct at the end of the game.

I hope Burrows told the truth and this ref gets his ass kicked out of the league for good.
