Despite Vancouver Sun claiming that Cody Hodgson is receiving Cortisones and being out indefinitely, he played in yesterdays game versus Sudbury.

if anyone is watching the Leafs vs. Pens game...

Gonchar put the puck in the back of the net but the play still went on because the referees didn't see it. Then, Ponikarovsky went on a breakaway and Gonchar hooked and tripped him leading to a penalty shot. HOWEVER, the Gonchar shot was reviewed and the goal stood. Ponikarovosky did not get the penalty shot but instead Gonchar was assessed a penalty.

Quite an interesting call as you cannot have two goals in "one" time given that the goal stood and Ponikarovsky given a penalty shot when the clock went back to its original time of the goal.

THEN, Wallin of the Leafs missed a wide open net. pretty eventful game!

on the side note.. does anyone know that the Penguins PP is ranked 30th in the league? The commentator said something about them not scoring a PP goal since mid-october~!
