Trade Luongo for a 2nd line sniper and/or a couple good D and this team can go all the way. Canadian's preferably.

Although Luongo's probably not worth the money/hype... he's pretty damn good on his "A" games.

While I partially agree with Canucks not getting far, it's more likely not from the goaltender. Watching Pens and Caps today... those guys are so quick, they make watching Canucks game look a bit amateur-ish. But who knows... Canucks beat Pens and Caps this season.

I think he's just talking about this very moment, cause Mitchell, Salo and Bieksa are all injured.

I did say we should trade him last season as well. Nothing personal against Louie, but realistically we are not winning the Cup with him and therefore should use him as an asset. Not his fault, but as Chicago showed last year, speed and skill will own our D and I don't think he can win an entire series on his own.

I am as big a Canucks fan as anyone, I go to a lot of games and I do hope we get out of the 2nd round this year. I am just not convinced that Luongo is the missing piece or that he should be Captain.
