The Flames loss in the shootout against Col should be 2 goals, not 1 so the total is 6 as of that night which should make the grand total 12.

You're right, my bad.

Big game tomorrow between two players playing at the top of their game:

And to celebrate, TSN is airing the Leafs in Tampa Bay. TSN FTL!

noots 01-20-2010 10:59 PM

shitty call in ot, but hey, who's complaining?

not even oiler fans should be mad, isn't their game plan to 'fall for Hall' or "not win for Seguin?"

Actually double fail because the game right after is the Flamers.

I can see it now. The ref is going to get Raymond back next time they meet. Auger is not the only ref in the league with a big ego. After all, Bettman was in attendance at tonight's game.

"You made me look bad in front of the boss. I must destroy you.........."

Except Raymond didn't really embellish anything. He just fell, and the ref called it.

it looks pretty when canucks on top of calgary with 1 game in hand

Not really sad, definitely not surprised either. This guy keeps popping off how he's unhappy with his role/ice time. Does a team need a guy like that? Just shut up and do your job if you want to help your team.

Man if Tennis wasn't on, I bet you TSN2 would have the Caps/Pens game!

Hondaracer 01-21-2010 09:26 AM

$94 pays $102 with the under of leafs bs lightning at 6 goals :)

Nope, it's only on 314 and 324 (sport channel).

Hawks vs. Flames is replaying at 11pm on TSN2 (147/213) if anyone cares.

Did it seem like there were a LOT of Canucks fans in Edmonton?! But I do know many of the Canuck players are from Alberta...

Regardless, it's great to see such a strong support in the opponents building.

Greenstoner 01-21-2010 10:50 AM

^ we have just the same amount of Edmonton fans when Edmonton is in town... same when Calgary is in town

fliptuner 01-21-2010 10:54 AM

I just got off the phone w/ my friend and we were laughing that they even started the game at 8pm MTN time because no one in Edm would watch their team, so they waited for us to watch the game. (yes, I know that's not the real reason, duh)

Remember how many Canucks fans were at the game in Anaheim? That was pretty cool too.

woob 01-21-2010 11:05 AM

I was more impressed at the amount of Nuck fans in Phoenix.. Now THAT was a lot.

Lol u kidding me?

At no point besides when the laughs come to town are any other fans prevolent in our building, on the other hand nucks fans are becoming increasingly visible around the league when we are on the road

anyone with surround sound last night I'm sure heard the "go Canucks go" chant going

I had a whole group of friends make a trip down there.

Some flew down with Allegiant Air for cheap and shared rooms and others drove down there and hit up Vegas after. Tickets to the games down there are dirt cheap.

Phoenix is a hot bed of Canadian ex pats and retired folk.

Scottsdale, to be exact.

Didn't hear the chant, but I heard more cheering than normal (when a visiting team scores) when the Canucks tied the game.

Another 9-1 loss would be great for the flames broken spirit.
