Tonight's game was revenge for what they did to us 2 years ago. They owned us pretty good that game(Linden's last game) and tonight we paid them back. Daniel's goal was sick. |

Nice way to end the season but the real test begins next week. |
So glad I went to tonights game. The buzz was electric every time Hank stepped out onto the ice. Aside from the twins, I thought Demitra and Wellwood both looked really good out there as well for most of the night. |
missed tiesto but holy fuck was that a amazing game |

yea hes not locked in for 12? but he prob could fetch the same kinda dollars soon too yikes But really...from straight up hockey sense here Luongo, the "centerpiece" of the team Nonis/Gillis reshapes team to build around Louie Look at it now, from Goalie out, we have..consistent scoring, a pretty decent defence and Luongo. the key word here is BUILD and this is how the salary cap will forever operate. It restricts teams like ie:washington with all their guns to make the numbers fit under or at par with the cap to keep the team like that. It spreads talent, around the league as well. That is, if hte player in question decides to take the "home town discount" and play for less regardless, the cap encourages development. and what have the canucks developed? the likes of Sedins, Kesler, Edler, Bieksa, Raymond, Burrows and Grabner. All to fit under cap. The leafs are getting close orange7, but are still some years away. I was VERY IMPRESSED with Chris Hansen tonight. |
