I posted that LA might be the biggest surprise in the playoffs a few weeks ago, guess we have to face them and see for ourselves if they are.

Eastern Bias is actually in all aspects of all NORTH AMERICAN CULTURE. The number of people living in Northeast USA area really explains where the exposure is. its not that they dont have any coverage of what's going on out here, but when your constantly fed mediums within a 500km radius, it easily trumps whatever big news happens out west.

Everyone is saying Ovechkin for Hart, but anyone really come down to think of it from the general hockey sense.

The amount of man games lost to the likes of Malkin and Gonchar meant someone were to pick up the slack. Sidney Crosby went from "playmaker" numbers to a 50goal scorer for the first time in his Career. He was their MVP

In a way, Alex Ovechkin is sorta like Steven Stamkos, the team generally is the same with or without the man in the lineup. Stamkos and the lightning suck, The Caps have all the firepower to win without Ovie, This season proved it to the league just how scary that team can be.

MVP is an individual award thats presented to the player who best displays why he is the most valuable player to his team.

Crosby went to fill the void of Malkin to keep the pens dominant throughout the entire year. Almost every winger that plays with our beloved Sedins turns to gold. Burrows at 35G, the success of Samuelsson with 9goals in 7games are just the few examples of this as well
