Wow... that Flyers and Rangers game must have been so intense... down to the wire on Shootout??? |
You both should deserve a fail. One for failing to recognize it was an obvious sarcastic post. And one for not using  emoticon |
Crosby made a great run of it at the end and tied Ovie. He'll also share the Rocket Richard with Stamkos. Posted via RS Mobile |
I posted that LA might be the biggest surprise in the playoffs a few weeks ago, guess we have to face them and see for ourselves if they are. |
OV was Naslunded... lost the point awards in the last games of the season... So this is what the Av's fans were feeling... |

Eastern Bias is actually in all aspects of all NORTH AMERICAN CULTURE. The number of people living in Northeast USA area really explains where the exposure is. its not that they dont have any coverage of what's going on out here, but when your constantly fed mediums within a 500km radius, it easily trumps whatever big news happens out west. Your comment tells me that you think all of the eastern population are very cynical and absolutely hate what happens out east. If you wanna make a difference in your life and be tied with any world renowned corporate giant, chance's are, your living in the Eastern Time Zone. Everyone is saying Ovechkin for Hart, but anyone really come down to think of it from the general hockey sense. Sidney Crosby, has more goals than Ovechkin this year in an injury plagued year for the Pittsburgh Penguins. The amount of man games lost to the likes of Malkin and Gonchar meant someone were to pick up the slack. Sidney Crosby went from "playmaker" numbers to a 50goal scorer for the first time in his Career. He was their MVP In a way, Alex Ovechkin is sorta like Steven Stamkos, the team generally is the same with or without the man in the lineup. Stamkos and the lightning suck, The Caps have all the firepower to win without Ovie, This season proved it to the league just how scary that team can be. MVP is an individual award thats presented to the player who best displays why he is the most valuable player to his team. Crosby went to fill the void of Malkin to keep the pens dominant throughout the entire year. Almost every winger that plays with our beloved Sedins turns to gold. Burrows at 35G, the success of Samuelsson with 9goals in 7games are just the few examples of this as well |

my comment tells you that i think all of the eastern population are very cynical and absolutely hate what happens out east. ..... i think you meant "west" but.. whatever. regardless, my sarcastic comment presented only one fact: eastern bias exists. in this scoring race example, i'm suggesting a possible way it can manifest. i didn't complain about it.. i'm not suggesting what we can do about it. i just brought it up. we all know it happens. and no, i don't think all of the eastern population are very cynical and absolutely hate what happens out east (or west). and.. i haven't looked into making a difference in my life to tie myself up with any world-renowned corporate giants. you didn't need to do all that research as to explaining why and how it exists either.. /facepalm /img arguingontheinternet.jpg |

so why are you so cynical about the eastern bias that exists when the very existence of such companies and products you use are based out in the east |

eastern superstars get more exposure to cater to eastern demographics/populatin--sure. makes sense. does west coast get less, yes, probably. i made one sarcastic comment, is that "so cynical"? |
