FACK!

Harvey Specter 04-19-2010 10:40 PM

LOL, I'm listening to 1040 right now and they aired a clip of Tom L going crazy after the Doughty goal.

Since I've finally calm down now, I can type this:

It's situational. That goal came during overtime. Obviously a goal during OT
changes the outcome of the game.

This disallowed goal might have boosted Canucks' momentum. That's all it
would have done. And although it was disallowed, Daniel scored shortly
after anyway, and Canucks had the momentum they needed for a good 5
minutes, including a PP in there. That was the time to tie the game, and they
didn't. And then all hope got snuffed out when Smyth scored.

Canucks lost due to the obvious horrible PK. It all started from there.
Luongo's mental breakdown on that 4th goal was due to the fact he was
getting lit up every time LA went on the PP. Raycroft going in net might have
sparked some momentum... but not enough.

The bad disallowed goal didn't help, but was not a factor. People are more upset
about the call due to it being a continuation of bad reffing from the previous game.
And build ups slowly lead to explosions...

OMGGGGGGGGGG that video just pissed me off even more NO MORE PLEASE I'M GONNA GO CRAZY

Harvey Specter 04-19-2010 10:59 PM

The article on the Kings site sums up the BS call. I understand the man is a VP but is it a fucking smart call from the NHL to have this idiot make such a important call when you know he's leaning towards one team compared to the other?

LUUUUUUUU 04-19-2010 11:02 PM

like WTF was Daniel Sedin suppose to do coming in with speed and a King pushing his ass to the goalie/other canucks player? FFS!

not a distinct kicking motion, but kicking motion nonetheless. Not a redirect, and not a deflection.

HonestTea 04-19-2010 11:07 PM

So let's say he didn't try to stop and turn, he runs right into the goalie and then what? A 2min penalty for goalie interference? Wow..

pure.life 04-19-2010 11:29 PM

I hope the Canucks put up a full 60 minute effort in Game 4.. or else this series will be over real fast

superstylin 04-19-2010 11:37 PM

^that's awesome.

Someone send me a copy of the DVD they distributed to the teams explaining what a "kicking motion" looks like.

trancehead 04-19-2010 11:52 PM

doughty :(

dachinesedude 04-19-2010 11:59 PM

yea that goal should have counted, yea we are getting fucked over by the league maybe

but if the canucks is really the better team, they will find a way to overcome it, good teams do

Harvey Specter 04-20-2010 12:05 AM
