To even think of starting your backup goalie when the number one is healthy, in a clutch game, is pure idiocy. He's the starter for a reason.

There's a reason why he's getting scored on and a lot of it isn't on him. He's not responsible for the puck getting/staying in the zone. Remember when we couldn't get the puck out of the zone to save our lives, in the 3rd, last game? That's not on the goalie. 2nd chances, maybe 50% for giving up a big rebound. 3rd chances almost never - the defence should be covering by then for sure. IMO the defence needs to pick it up just as much, if not more than the goaltending. Or how bout this, if we scored more goals, maybe we wouldn't be focusing so much on mediocre goaltending either.

He was hot in the Olympics but his game seems to suit the International Hockey style. Not the hard nosed gritty NHL Play off grind.
