Hopefully Chicago makes it too SCF then loose. Seeing Hossa not winning it for the 3rd straight year = priceless

Yeah. Would be sweet to see the Penguins take it away from Hossa again.

In a way... I have to agree. But at the same time, I kinda want
Blackhawks to just die the next 4 games. I don't have that kind of patience.

Is it just me or does anyone else think Luongo is overrated? I know he is a very, very good goalie, but perhaps he isn't suited for THIS team and its style?

itachi1314 05-11-2010 08:10 PM

Why didn't they hit Bieksa in the nuts instead ?!?!?!

Seriously, that man should not be allowed to pass his genes on. I am still raging about the second goal which was a back-breaker.

Why would you say that?
What kind of team style would he be good for then?

Everyone is playing the happy loser, I guess I have to bring back the reality that we lost BADLY. Not only did we lose, we lost to the same team we did last year (you all know that). ON THE SAME DATE, in the same amount of games?!?!?! GIVE ME A BREAK. We lost because our best players did not get it done. We lost because the coach is a dummy.

Luongo let in ugly goals at key moments
Sedin Sedin Burrows accomplished nothing
Kesler is "hurt" and did nothing

Wellwood was the only player on the team that took it to another level. I can't believe i am even saying that.

My GM advice for next year. New coach ASAP. Remove "C" from Luongo. Get the Sedin's a real winger (not a regular season superstar). Get bigger, 4th line of monster's, as good a Rypien is at fighting, you can't fight in the playoffs.

Oh also, we just barely got by LA.

sLiCkRiCk 05-11-2010 08:13 PM

Good thing I sold my tickets. I couldn't bare to pay $300 + to be sad and disappointed.

68style 05-11-2010 08:14 PM

Where the fuck does Kesler go in the playoffs... 2 goals in 10 games last year... 1 goal in 11 games this year...

Biekshit needs to leave, seriously, that's enough of him and his idiotic plays.

Demitra will leave on his own, thank goodness.

Luongo is a great goalie but he can't do everything! The Canucks blue line is ABYSMAL. Vancouver had the top scorer in the league and like xclusive said a very good offensive game backed by the Olympic Gold Medal winning Goalie who bailed out his team when they were down.

The Canucks will never win until they get a more solid defensive core. They need to make some trades and stir it up bigtime. I vote they send Salo packing with some draft picks for a big name defenceman. Salo's made of balsa wood, he's so injury prone it's ridiculous. He shouldn't have even played tonight, it would have been better to have a fully fit guy in there then have him skating around not hitting and not shooting. Bieksa played brilliantly in game 5 but man did he stink up the joint tonight. I was screaming at the TV for him to take Kane on the 4th goal and he just sat there and let him shoot through the gap and score thus killing the Canucks' momentum in the 3rd and literally ending the series. I also lost count of how many times they let a Blackhawk stand in front of the goalie and rather then move him around they STOOD RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE GUY IN FRONT OF LUONGO! I'd have been benched for doing that back in MIDGET!
