I saw a douchebag looking guy while I was boarding the ferry with a 'No Olympic games on stolen Native land'

I say: Fuck that! Show me a Native guy. I'll steal his land myself and hold my own Olympic games there.

The events will include: Seal Clubbing, Hobo Kicking, the Tire Burning challenge (with CFC spray can torch relay), and to top it all off everyone will drive home drunk after.

We'll serve endangered whale blubber and deep fried panda for snacks. The gold medals will be adorned with blood diamonds from Sierra Leone. They'll be presented by a kid with missing limbs who mined the diamond personally.

The Americans will be welcome, George W will be a special guest, and guns will be required in every sport.

It will be the best Olympic games ever.

Just came saw it twice in my hood. Quite the experience well worth my legs getting all burned up from the running. Go CANADA!

Woah huge luge accident to a Georgian Luger. CTV just showed the footage, and the guy flew off and hit a solid support structure. Basically wrapped himself around a pole (in terms of car speak).

Earlier Friday, reigning Olympic luge gold medallist Armin Zöggeler of Italy managed to walk away after crashing in his first run, but came back to complete a clean second run.

The two time Olympic champion and four-time medallist lost control in the lower section of his opening run, tearing down the track while holding on to his sled before coming to a halt. He stood up almost immediately after the crash.

Zöggeler was driven off in a medical vehicle, but returned for his second run, finishing in a time of 47.252 seconds.

He was neck-in-neck with leader Felix Loch of Germany, the reigning World Champion, when he crashed. Loch, who finished his first run in a time of 47.186, edged Zoeggeler in the World Championships last year.

Jeff Christie was the top Canadian after the first of two runs on Friday, sitting in eighth overall. The Vancouver native was first overall after Day 1 of training on Wednesday.

Calgary's Sam Edney was 11th, and fellow Calgarian Ian Cockerline was 25th.

Luge competition begins on Saturday with men's singles.

hate to say it, and i hope its not true, but he maybe done period. They had to administer CPR right after the scene, and he is being airlifted out...

torch was suppose to come down the drive and then turn at 1st but i guess since there was a MASSIVE crowd/protestors by the park by britannia they decided to turn on clark and go down 1st LOL i was right on that corner waiting for the torch to come down commercial and it never did.. luckily i was at a coffee shop nearby and saw the route change.. and man it was a GONG SHOW. the cops went down 1st and then turned left on commercial which made us thought they were gonna go down the drive.. turns out it was a diversion and they went straight down 1st... LOL i got video of the torch passing by

as well as the HUGE mob of protestors that were choked cause the reroute totally fucked them over. closed down the street of 1st and commercial for awhile

Georgian luger dies after horrifying crash at Whistler track

Kumaritashvili was going close to 150 km/h, near the end of the course, when he launched off the track. Witnesses say his body hit a metal pole. Medical personnel performed CPR through a plastic tube and almost immediately an ambulance rushed Kumaritashvili from Whistler Olympic Park to the local hospital.

Kumaritashvili turned 21 in November. He had competed in luge for Georgia since 2008.

Just watched it on the news.
I don't know what to say. Estimated 140.3 KM/H. Fastest part of the track aswell.

I saw it on CTV and I just cringed when I heard that noise his body made hitting the pole

130kmph is hella fast to hit a pole

odds are he's never experianced speeds even close to what the whistler track does.. probably was unprepared for such a turn
