Went to heineken house tonight with a group of friends and it was awesome. Pretty decent music and it was like a club but with friendly people and minus the poser douchebags. Beer was a little expensive but I'd gladly pay for it there than go to another vancouver club. Just wish the lineup wasn't so long.

Downtown was a fucking gong show tonight!

Ran with a huge group of canadians with flag capes and jerseys all down Granville St and doubled back to Robson/Howe where we sang the national anthem in the middle of the intersection. It was fucking awesome

Beer is expensive? I have the Heineken House iPhone app and it lists all the prices of the restaurant menu and bars, and said beer is only $4.

It's actually quite sweet to watch in person. At the spectator area at the last big turn, you can see them scream by quite well. The giant TV doesn't hurt either. :D
