i'll probably put on my summers at the end of the month. I like my steelies better than my OEM rims, maybe cuz they are not curb'd to shit..lol

skyxx 02-06-2010 03:06 AM

I like my Steelies too cause they're Time Attacked!

RabidRat 02-06-2010 03:18 AM

that's it. i'm putting my summers back on. i hate my snow tires with a passion and it doesn't look like the white stuff is coming anytime soon. it's not *that* much effort to swap it back anyway haha.

maxxxboost 02-06-2010 05:20 AM

I think i'm going to insure the bike before i slap on the summer rims for the car. lol
Car needs to be repaired anyways.

Gh0stRider 02-06-2010 08:56 AM

Is it really safe to run summers now? Average temperature is around 7-8 degrees in the day plus its going to be cold and raining a lot soon.

!Yaminashi 02-09-2010 11:12 AM

I havent, my car said it was 2 degrees this morning on my way to work

optiblue 02-09-2010 08:35 PM

My first mod was snow tires last year :( boy should I have waited!!!

!SG 02-27-2010 12:10 PM

so its coming up to the first of march, the weather doesnt seem to be getting any colder, just wetter. I think its time to put the rims back on!

Need to run a 15mm spacer (or at least keep around) on the fronts as i plan on doing the LS400 caliper swap this year... hope it fits!

is it worth it to invest in a torque wrench?

I torque mine by feel, I've never had a wheel come off on any of my cars and i've pushed them pretty hard.

slammer111 03-01-2010 09:41 PM

^^ You can't go wrong by having one. With that said, I finally got one this year when I found a good one on sale.

Never had a wheel come off on me in the last 12 years. Everyone's all worried about getting torque right down to spec. While it'd be nice to get it bang-on, everything has a design factor/allowance built in. Buy one if it fits your budget. :)

skyxx 03-01-2010 09:48 PM

Was suppose to swap them this weekend but damn and I toast from Olympic partying! Will swap them tomorrow (Hopefully :lol)

BrendanS 03-01-2010 10:07 PM

Found this torque wrench on sale at Canadian Tire. Looks to be pretty good, great reviews and all. Thought I'd share.

^ I have that and it's a decent torque wrench for at home use. :)
